03/05/2026: Stopped here for the fried calamari since we didn’t want a heavy dinner. We ordered a mix of small dishes to share. The calamari were great, soft, crunchy, and salty that paired great with the local beer. The only disappointing thing was the chips, as they weren’t seasoned enough and calamari came with no dipping sauces. Otherwise a solid no big thrills location to enjoy and people watch on the streets.

03/05/2026: Everything looked delicious, but we opted for the takeaway sandwiches. They were excellent and filling. We didn't have to wait long. The packaging was beautiful. The only thing was that the bread was a little less crispy to prevent it from crumbling too much with each bite.

20/04/2026: I ate at Baita Lanzo and had a really good time. It's a simple, typical mountain place, without too many frills, but the food is as it should be. The fried mushrooms were really good: crispy on the outside and flavorful on the inside, one of those dishes you quickly finish. Then I had the polenta with porcini mushrooms, which was perhaps the best part of the meal: plentiful, tasty, and with the mushrooms really crunchy. And finally, the crostata: truly excellent, homemade, the kind that makes you want another slice. Overall, a very positive experience, especially for those seeking simple, authentic mountain cuisine.

14/04/2026: The food was good, right up until dessert. I had an apple strudel, and it was moldy. I hate to report it, but I think it's fair enough. The staff was friendly and offered us coffee.

09/06/2026: Nice drinks and terrace, ruined by unacceptable service. We politely asked a younger male waiter for extra cutlery and were flat-out told “no.” When paying the bill, he claimed he was “just joking with us.” As a group of young women in our 20s, it felt uncomfortable, disrespectful and unprofessional. Save these kind of jokes for your coworkers, not paying customers.

24/05/2026: First of all, they didn't let me in with my dogs, and it's the only bar where dog owners have to access the outside area where cars pass, so you end up having breakfast in a smoggy environment. It's the only bar in the area with these restrictions, so I strongly advise against it for anyone planning to stop by with medium-sized dogs. And since having a dog is a hygiene issue, the staff serves without gloves or caps. Filthy place. I found a hair in my croissant. Long live consistency.

20/12/2025: A very cozy bar with friendly and welcoming service. We had a glass of white wine and were served an aperitif platter. The place is very unassuming. We would definitely come back.

17/05/2026: Worst gelato I've had in Italy. Horrible service. I ordered gelato in a cone and the scoops were served sloppily. She gave me the gelato and the scoops were already falling out, not to mention she got the flavor wrong. The gelato tastes like any old popsicle; there's absolutely no point in coming here.

23/05/2026: Huge hotel, long hallways. Spacious and very comfortable room. Very nice bathroom. They provide slippers and have several amenities. Good breakfast, but separate for groups. It's best to bring your own dinner to eat in your room or make a reservation at a restaurant.

08/10/2025: Excellent experience. This is definitely one of the best AYCE sushi restaurants in the area. The menu offers a wide variety, including some unusual options, and the ingredients are of good quality. I also appreciate the fact that the portions aren't overwhelming (small uramaki, not too much rice, and servings of 4 instead of 8), so you can try a variety of flavors without feeling too full.

02/06/2026: Very good pizza, I've been coming here since I was little, the staff is friendly, but above all this pizza is special, you will never eat one like this (very good), the best pizza I've ever eaten and the prices are really low for what it is.

01/05/2026: After having dinner here, I decided to open a sort of "gourmet" restaurant (small portions and very high prices) in my town. High profits for minimal expenditure... 👍 This place is not for me... ..terrible quality/quantity/price ratio. Two stars for the service and interior.

14/06/2025: Vinimos al Bellavista para cenar en nuestra primera noche en Brunate por recomendación de nuestros anfitriones AirBnB, y tuvimos una noche perfecta. El Bellavista es un encantador edificio histórico situado en la parte superior del funicular Brunate, con una vista espectacular desde el restaurante sobre el lago y el valle de abajo. Puede sentarse a su mesa dentro del restaurante junto a las ventanas abiertas mirando hacia fuera mientras come platos locales realmente encantadores - ravioles de percha, lasaña de jabalí, quesos locales y panna cotta y merengues para terminar. Si hubiéramos tenido más tiempo, habríamos venido aquí una segunda vez.

13/06/2025: Disfrutamos de un excelente almuerzo con una hermosa vista del lago de Como. Afortunadamente pudieron llevarnos como un paseo, pero una reserva sería prudente para garantizar una mesa con vistas. La comida y el servicio eran excelentes, y los precios eran muy razonables. Una gran opción para el almuerzo o la cena en Como!
