08/05/2026: I visited this restaurant on a Saturday for a family lunch; there were eight of us. The restaurant—located in a historic area of ​​Erba, a bit run-down but with its own charm—generally offers a small menu with 2-3 options for each course, but, typically on Saturday lunchtime, it also offers 'cicchetti,' small appetizers to enjoy, possibly accompanied by one (or more) good bottles of wine. Since there were so many of us, we each ordered 4-5 small plates and a few platters of cured meats and cheeses to start. Despite the complexity, the manager, supported by only one other member of staff in the dining room, didn't miss a beat, and we all thoroughly enjoyed every single bite: everything was truly well-cooked and prepared, with plenty of character and clean, well-assorted, and unconventional flavors. Special mention goes to the cured meats and cheeses (from small local producers) of the highest quality. Even the wine selection, with which the host willingly collaborates, was a pleasant experience, thanks to the selection (like a "serious" wine shop) of small, high-quality labels. The atmosphere is simple, like a true osteria, but pleasant. The service is prompt and relaxed, as it should be in this type of establishment. The bill is fair and absolutely in line with the quality offered. I would return and recommend it.

06/05/2026: Positive: Beautiful view, quiet area, restaurant is okay for the price. Neutral: Breakfast is mediocre – it offers the bare essentials, but nothing more. Negative: Very poor sound insulation – you can practically hear all the neighbors snoring and urinating. There was mold in the shower, the water pressure was very low, etc. – maintenance of the facilities is overdue by a good 5-10 years. Reason for the 1-star rating: One evening, a party took place in the hotel. Apparently, a large group (~50 people) had booked a large room as an event location – the hotel provided a huge sound system. In Italy, there is a legally mandated quiet time from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM (source: DPCM, November 14, 1997), and beyond that, it should go without saying that a hotel should ensure the comfort of its guests. This was not the case here. The music in our room reached a volume of over 60 dB (measured with a smartphone) – far exceeding any legal limit. At 11:20 p.m., we complained to the hotel management—who, incidentally, were also at the party. We were brushed off with the excuse that "the music will continue until midnight." The volume was reduced minimally (to about 50 dB in the room—technically still too loud). The party went on for several more hours with guitar music, singing, etc.—we didn't get to sleep until around 2 or 3 a.m. The next day, the manager in charge briefly spoke with us—not to apologize, but to rudely explain that there is no legally mandated quiet time in Italy—which is simply wrong and, as mentioned, shouldn't be the standard for a hotel.

02/05/2026: We had a room on the third floor with a balcony overlooking the lake. The bathroom, with its retro tiles, was clean and functional. The staff is extremely kind and goes out of their way to help. We ordered a cocktail that wasn't on the menu, and the waitress went home to get the missing ingredients so she could serve us. The pizzas are excellent and very reasonably priced for the quality. I highly recommend this hotel and restaurant.

We opted for an aperitivo that included a drink and some reasonably priced appetizers, considering there were three of us. Overall, the food was good, and the drinks were original and fun; in fact, one of us ordered the "little chemist," which allows you to mix your own drink. Prices are average. Recommended.

14/05/2026: I've been coming here for years now and as always it never disappoints, even with the new cocktails, like the Diabolik, fantastic... excellent service and very helpful staff, a great place for a couple or friends to have an evening, especially if you want to be quiet.

The atmosphere is beautiful, elegant, and meticulously crafted, perfect for both professional meetings and a quality break. The cuisine is excellent: top-quality ingredients and dishes always well-executed. I also really appreciate the constant presence of 3-4 off-menu options, always interesting and stimulating. Despite this, as a Carbonara lover, it's become a tradition for me: every time I come here, I can't resist it, and I always choose it... and it never disappoints.

30/03/2026: Feels like home, highly recommended! My friends and I came for dinner and after a pleasant walk we were greeted in the warmest of ways. We immediately felt at home and at ease. The owner is a wonderful person, sweet and kind, who conveys her love for her work in every little gesture. Due to health issues, I wasn't able to fully enjoy the dishes, but my friends left feeling satisfied and happy. If all climbs ended like this, they would definitely be worth the effort. We'll be back soon!

08/03/2026: What a wonderful surprise! We discovered this restaurant quite by chance and we loved it. The traditional dishes are delicious, very well prepared, and at very reasonable prices. Admittedly, you have to walk through a small section of forest to get there, but that's part of the charm of the place. The experience is absolutely worth it! If you want to try authentic and flavorful local dishes, this is a place that's definitely worth the detour.

28/05/2026: The rooms are adequate. The location, directly on a very busy road, is a drawback. It's difficult to enjoy the outdoors (it's noisy). Park in the car park further away; it actually costs €1.20 per hour.
