30/08/2025: On the recommendation of my girlfriend, who had been here years ago, we finally managed to book a dinner reservation. What a lovely surprise. Excellent food, super friendly and approachable staff, who make you feel at ease, always attentive to the service and making sure you have everything you need. The owner's dedication and dedication to his work is admirable, as demonstrated by the presentation and attention to detail. The atmosphere is small and charming, seating 22-24 people; reservations are always recommended. We'll definitely be back :-)

14/08/2025: We've been coming for several years now, and on various occasions we've invited friends who, in turn, have adopted it as their favorite restaurant. The menu offers both meat and seafood, with both classic and more creative dishes, as well as seasonal specials. Everything is always exquisite and carefully prepared. The hospitality and courtesy are never lacking. For us, it's truly a sure thing.

03/10/2025: I'd heard about the seafood. My experience, and that of most of the group I was with, wasn't great. I shared lemon mussels that seemed long-simmered, with a very salty and bitter liquid (I couldn't tell if there was thyme, oregano, or parsley). The mussels were tiny and flavorless. The mixed fried calamari was cooked but soft, rubbery, and not crunchy, while the shrimp were hot and tough. The staff were friendly, but I don't think I'd return or recommend this place. Prices are average for Como and the surrounding area, so expensive.

20/09/2025: During my stay in Como, I visited the restaurant twice and did not regret it. Extremely friendly service and very tasty food. The portions were huge.

29/09/2025: Enchanting location in the Lazzago Villa Giulini complex, a medieval village. Excellent typical trattoria.

14/09/2025: A unique and special place located in a courtyard. Local specialties prepared with care and love, using quality ingredients. Friendly and attentive service in a family atmosphere. A journey back in time just steps from the center of Como. Highly recommended!

28/07/2025: We ordered two appetizers (patanegra and tartare) and two main courses: kangaroo fillet and zebra fillet. Everything was simply delicious! The quality ingredients and preparation exceeded our expectations. The service was impeccable, befitting the restaurant's caliber: attentive, professional, and never intrusive. We truly enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend this experience, especially to anyone looking for something different and sophisticated.

20/07/2025: Ieri sera , abbiamo provato questo ristorante tramite the fork , location carina e accogliente , servizio formale e impeccabile , abbiamo scelto di provare l’antipasto della casa , due primi piatti piatto con il ragù ottimi ma mancava un po’ di “sprint” nel sugo di secondo carne di bisonte molto gustosa e saporita .

08/10/2025: Very authentic, fish-centric cuisine

01/10/2025: Nothing special. The restaurant offers food that is well below average. You are forced to eat from a very limited selection (4 appetizers, 2 main courses, and 1 dessert) and you must eat at the times they dictate: lunch from 12:30–14:00 and dinner from 19:30–21:00. So if you don’t eat exactly at those times, you’ll have to adjust. Also, if you’re used to enjoying a glass of wine and sitting longer, that won’t be possible. They present themselves as an authentic, non-commercial fish restaurant, but that has nothing to do with what you actually get. For starters, you can choose either one small appetizer or a mix of all of them. Hardly anything is edible except the pâté. For the main course, you can choose risotto or fish. If you want risotto, you must order two portions (which is completely absurd) or go with fish. Meaning, if one of you wants risotto and the other wants fish, that’s not allowed. The risotto is far below average, basically just plain rice. The fish (the reason you came) is one of the worst we’ve had—fried in oil, greasy, and served without any garnish or sauce. They don’t even provide a lemon. The story about the fish being fresh from the lake is very weak, as everyone is served the exact same size fish (a whole fish, not fillets), which in the best case means it’s farmed, not caught. Dessert is crushed ice with artificial lemon flavor. All in all, the food is very poor. The only reason we gave two stars instead of one is because the staff was friendly. Of course, you’ll pay handsomely for this: dinner for two comes to about €85 plus drinks.

06/10/2025: Very inviting and good dishes, especially the hamburgers, friendly and fast staff and a well-kept themed place with many activities to do

04/10/2025: Unfortunately, the children's area is closed on Tuesdays, we don't have T-bone steaks, only Pepsi, no Coke, only one choice of white wine, semi-deserted premises... to be re-evaluated on other days of the week... the atmosphere is very nice, the service is friendly, the tagliata was good, the pinsa too.

15/09/2025: Definitely eat at this place. Wandered the opposite way in Tremezzo only to see tourist traps, and a few wine bars. So happy we took the 12 minute walk. The ravioli was a story from the owners childhood , just like his grandmother made. Everything on the menu is delicious. Must try for people staying in Tremezzo, will not disappoint!!

12/09/2025: Felt very unwelcome here. It had a very racism vibe. The manager here should teach their obers to smile a little bit and try not to show any racism. I do not reccomend this place. The ober had even the audacity to lie to our face by telling us that we had to order fast if we wanted to order a take away, because he was waiting a lot of people. Are we not customers to them? After half an hour we saw that it was not even crowded. Stay far far away if you don't want these people to lie in your face and make you feel very NOT welcome.

11/10/2025: In a restaurant serving Como cuisine, I'd always expect the local specialties: at least lake fish dishes and local cheeses. The menu didn't offer what I expected. Despite this, I ate well, enjoying the goat cheese ravioli (which is available here) with caramelized onions: I was captivated by their perfect balance of sweet and savory. A more than adequate wine list, the friendliness of the staff, and the average price rounded out the evening.

08/10/2025: Tucked away in a quiet alley in the heart of Como - “Locanda Barbarossa” is a true hidden gem，peaceful and charming despite being so central. .We had lunch outdoors, and it was absolutely lovely — calm, comfortable, and beautifully set. The food was outstanding, made with the freshest ingredients and full of authentic flavors. The staff were warm and attentive throughout. Special thanks to Roland for his kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality — he made our experience even more special!

06/09/2025: Papo's is a Mexican restaurant offering a wide and varied menu, including vegetarian, meat, and fish dishes. The appetizers, ideal for sharing, are truly excellent, as are the meats and cocktails. It's a versatile venue, perfect for families, groups of friends, or colleagues looking to enjoy an aperitif or dinner, as well as couples seeking a pleasant atmosphere. For the little ones, a children's menu complete with drink and dessert is available. The restaurant is also accessible to those with reduced mobility.

15/06/2025: I'm sorry but I expected more, the food was not good at all, poor service, even the location at the entrance was nice but after that nothing (let's not talk about the bathroom with scooters)

29/05/2025: First time in a Sri Lankan restaurant. The food was amazing and prepared super fast. We had a native with us who said this was one of the best Sri Lankan food he ever had (second only to his mothers').

08/07/2025: This was the best food I had the entire time I stayed in Lake como. The sandwiches are so fresh and delicious with so many options and the people who work there are so kind and wonderful. Before we left we got lunch here and each got two sandwiches to take away so we could have them for the next two days!!!

30/09/2025: We went on a Friday night with friends, and we were all satisfied. The food was excellent, and the suckling pig was AMAZING!! We returned a few months later, and it certainly didn't live up to our expectations... the suckling pig was dry, and the rind was "soft"... it tasted like it had been boiled... unfortunately, it doesn't get more than 1 star.

24/09/2025: The exterior of the location appears poorly maintained, with weeds overgrown on the walls. Inside, as well as outside, the decor needs improvement. The lighting is insufficient. The 70x70cm tables are truly small, with little room for a bread basket, plates, and a place setting consisting of a runner and paper napkin. The service was quick, friendly, but inattentive, even though the restaurant wasn't full. The delicious fish soup, served in a small bowl, with prawns requiring cleaning, was truly a challenge due to the limited space, with splashes of sauce all over you. All you could find was a paper napkin and a few tiny wet wipes. The prawns were not gutted. The fregola, culorgiones, fried food, and desserts were all very good, except for the tiramisu, which lacked a little cream, a lot of Sardinian ladyfingers, and was served with a drizzle of non-dairy cream, which was truly unappealing. You can truly find authentic Sardinian cuisine made with quality ingredients at this restaurant, but the place needs a little more updating. I missed the comfort—there were three of us at a small table—and the atmosphere of sitting at a table and waiting for the moment to taste what you've ordered.

02/08/2025: Among the best ice creams I've ever had! Many special and sophisticated flavors, some even made with buffalo milk.

29/03/2025: The best ice cream in the area, the fantastic biscuit cone! The prices are also the lowest in the area, while still maintaining the highest quality on the products they use. Highly recommended!

24/09/2025: The staff is super attentive and friendly and the food is just okay.

23/09/2025: My spaghetti carbonara was dry and not authentic at all. Service was good but unfortunately you cannot make carbonara creamier after the egg has separated and clumped Very disappointed
