19/03/2026: Excellent experience, I go there often for work. The stars are well-deserved for the overall excellent value. Furthermore, the location is delightful, with views of the lake from huge windows. It feels more like a lunch break than a prelude to a lovely weekend getaway, or a vacation on the water. The staff deserves special mention for their kindness and professionalism. I live far away, otherwise I would definitely go there for my private dinners too.

04/01/2026: Beautiful location with a lake view, embarrassing service. After waiting—consciously—for a table for lunch, we order two glasses of wine, a pumpkin risotto, and a burrata. The dishes are literally "thrown" on the table by a waiter who doesn't even know who's supposed to serve them. I report the incident to the cashier, and the response is: "Unfortunately, it's crowded." As if rudeness were an inevitable consequence of the crowds. Final bill: about €60. We say our goodbyes politely, but the waiter, clearly annoyed, doesn't even return our greeting. The quality-to-service ratio is decidedly unacceptable. In places this touristy, you also pay for politeness, which here is completely absent.

03/01/2026: On our way to the hotel, Google Maps suggested taking a ferry to shorten our ETA by 1.5 hours. It turned out to be an excellent choice coming from Menaggio, we arrived by ferry just 100–200 metres from the hotel. During our road trip through Italy, we decided to spend New Year’s Eve in Bellagio and chose Hotel Du Lac. It was an excellent decision. Starting with the view from our room (room 44), which was absolutely outstanding—waking up in bed, we could admire the beautiful lake directly through the windows. The room had a small balcony, just big enough for two people to sit comfortably and enjoy the view with a drink. We were also very pleasantly surprised by the welcome gift for our little dog, which we truly appreciated. The room was spacious, as was the bathroom. Breakfast was very tasty and served in a glass-covered terrace with a spectacular lake view, no matter where you choose to sit. The hotel also has a bar downstairs, which is equally outstanding. We highly recommend this hotel. The only minor downside possibly due to the New Year period—was that the bar closed quite early, although everything else in the city was also closed. One negative aspect worth mentioning is that the hotel uses a very old-fashioned physical key system. This would not be an issue if the electricity could remain on when leaving the room; however, the power is controlled by a key holder attached to the room key, which can be inconvenient. Another important thing to keep in mind if you are arriving by car: you will be assigned a parking space in a garage that is very steep at the entrance and extremely narrow inside. The width of the garage gate is 2.34 metres (according to iPhone Measuring App). Our car is 2.03 metres wide with the mirrors open, so I strongly recommend arriving with as small a car as possible, as manoeuvring into the parking space can take some time. Overall, we spent an amazing New Year’s Eve and a wonderful stay at the hotel. We highly recommend it and will definitely return. The hotel was truly worth the money and that is exactly what we value.

21/03/2026: What can I say? Excellent is an understatement. The pizza is indescribable, I love it. We come here for special occasions, and it's always a sure thing. Friendly staff, a truly beautiful atmosphere, and excellent food.

15/03/2026: Been here for lunch 10 times betweeny Italy trips. Best gluten free best in Italy IMO and I ate a lot of GF pizza. Good service and a pleasant atmosphere. Prices are good too.

14/06/2025: Vinimos al Bellavista para cenar en nuestra primera noche en Brunate por recomendación de nuestros anfitriones AirBnB, y tuvimos una noche perfecta. El Bellavista es un encantador edificio histórico situado en la parte superior del funicular Brunate, con una vista espectacular desde el restaurante sobre el lago y el valle de abajo. Puede sentarse a su mesa dentro del restaurante junto a las ventanas abiertas mirando hacia fuera mientras come platos locales realmente encantadores - ravioles de percha, lasaña de jabalí, quesos locales y panna cotta y merengues para terminar. Si hubiéramos tenido más tiempo, habríamos venido aquí una segunda vez.

13/06/2025: Disfrutamos de un excelente almuerzo con una hermosa vista del lago de Como. Afortunadamente pudieron llevarnos como un paseo, pero una reserva sería prudente para garantizar una mesa con vistas. La comida y el servicio eran excelentes, y los precios eran muy razonables. Una gran opción para el almuerzo o la cena en Como!

18/11/2025: Having dinner for less than €10 per person on Lake Como is practically impossible. We managed it at this pizzeria/kebab place. We even drank beer and soda (panacè is our passion). The atmosphere is obviously spartan, but it's reasonable for the prices. What's striking is the quality of both the pizza and the kebab. Don't bring your snobbish friends here, but go if you want to have a good dinner and spend little.

03/03/2026: I didn't know about it before last Saturday. It was recommended to me, and I'm proud to recommend it as well. It's not only a feast for the eyes, but also for the palate. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They accept card payments. Parking is a bit limited, but it's available.

17/01/2026: Eat Molise – Tavernerio A place that immediately captivates. The cuisine is authentic, rich in authentic Molise flavors, with carefully prepared dishes using quality ingredients. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is attentive and friendly, always with a smile. A special mention goes to the homemade breakfasts: fresh croissants, homemade cakes, and ever-changing offerings that exude craftsmanship and attention to detail. A perfect way to start the day with flavor. Excellent for a quick lunch, to sample specialties not found everywhere, and to feel a little "at home." Highly recommended.

22/12/2025: I rarely stop by (almost always for a quick coffee), as I don't live in the area, so it's difficult, but when I do stop by in the morning, the staff always have a smile. The place is clean and tidy. Keep up the good work.
