03/10/2025: What a magical experience to hike for hours deep into the wooded mountains around Lake Como and then find yourself at such a wonderful restaurant. We started with a great negroni and spritz. The board of cheese and meats was what I have been searching for the last two weeks in Italy. I had tried so many, including at nice restaurants in Bologna, but all the others seemed on par with the states. Not this board though, everything on it was life changing good. Our two mains were very delicious and unique. We really enjoyed them both. We ended our meal with a delicious chocolate cake with wild berries. We had the best espresso of the whole trip, so many places in Italy serve gritty and super acidic coffee but this was smooth and delicious. He also recommended some new amori to me and brought over the bottles to let me pour what I wanted. I really appreciated the great recommendations and the trust there. Lastly, I cannot stress how cool this place is up there in the mountains. It was a great experience I would recommend to anyone who is up for a hike in a very beautiful place.

03/11/2025: I really liked the place. Original and high-quality food. We tried the Parmesan risotto, the venison ravioli, and the vitello, all very good. I was pleasantly surprised by the risotto because it had something smoky in it, and I don't usually like smoky things, but it was very well balanced; it was my favorite dish. The set lunch menu for 20 euros is well worth it. The waiter was very friendly and recommended some good wines. I would definitely go back!

18/02/2026: A welcoming place, but it's a shame I only ordered takeout pizzas and didn't get to try their food. The service was friendly and impeccable; the guy who took the delivery and served me the pizzas was very friendly and courteous. The quality of the pizzas was good; I couldn't fault the taste or ingredients. The only downside was the size of the pizza itself, which was really small. Otherwise, I can highly recommend it.

16/02/2026: We've known this historic restaurant for a while. We decided to stop by for an aperitif and a bite to eat. The maître d' was very kind and seated us. Reading the menu, it didn't have what we wanted, but our request for a selection of cheeses was accommodated, a sign of great availability and professionalism on the part of the maître d' and the kitchen staff. The renovation of the restaurant, which included replacing the seating, is excellent, making it more attractive. If you keep up this good work, success is guaranteed.

15/01/2026: Amazing authentic Italian food! We were welcomed and served by the owners, who were super friendly and made us feel right at home. The arancini were delicious and the lasagna was rich and comforting. Prices are very reasonable. Definitely a place we’ll come back to!

27/10/2025: Pleasant restaurant with excellent pizzas and pastas, with a special mention for the carbonara. The prices are affordable, and the €3 supplement per person is justified by the beautiful view of Lake Como. The frequent traffic, due to the proximity of the road, can be a bit annoying, but the service remains professional and fast.

22/02/2026: We went last night with friends, I give it a passing grade. I didn't like the seafood pizza very much, it was very bland even though the pasta was good. The staff was far too fast, so much so that from 7:30 in we were already out by 9:00, and it felt more like a business lunch than an evening with friends. Desserts were ok.

08/02/2026: The cover charge was expensive, three euros, and they didn't even bring us bread. It was a steep bill for what we ate, especially considering the simple atmosphere and the fact that it's on Alpe Grande.
