16/07/2024: We were second to enter the restaurant at 19:30 when the doors were opened. The waiter did not give us the menu. We saw that people who came after us already had the menu, so we asked and the lady said that we need to wait, as they do not have more menus. Okay... Interesting start. We ordered: 2 pastas for kids, kids said they were nice. Pumpkin flowers were nice, but nothing special. Cheese platter - nothing can be wrong with this. Beef fillet and perch - nothing special, but what made the dishes really bad was the amount of salt. My wife had perch with chanterelles. She finished her fish, though it was over salted, but mushrooms - she said impossible to eat. The waiters are overloaded with the amount of customers and we had to ask them many times to bring us wine and water. After reading the reviews on Google, I checked the final bill and found 2 extra glasses of wine that we did not drink.

29/06/2024: Make your reservation early for a lovely meal. Wait staff very helpful. Prices for both food and drinks reasonable for this area. Food is good. Bread tray was exceptional!!! we had wild boar with polenta and ravioli, Portions are good sized. Cover charge 3 Euros per person. Popular restaurant for good reason.

31/08/2024: I hadn't been to this Indian restaurant for years, but I found it exactly as I remembered it: excellent cuisine, refined in its sobriety. Absolutely worth trying.

18/08/2024: Spectacular location, located in wonderfull position absolutely. Unfortunately was so so bad the pizza tomatoes was so bitter, and instead the dough very plastic. Mosquitos everywhere because of green plants I know, I was upstairs, with a spectacular view. The staff unfortunately very young and inexperienced, I think the owner does not invest in staff. Never on this place in the future.

12/08/2024: Lovely place, I came in really late but the oven was still warm so they made us pizza! Great staff!

10/08/2024: Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food. When I asked politely in English for a table, the waitress waved around impatiently and said something about the restaurant and the bar - obviously there is a separation between the seating areas. When I asked something else, she left me standing. I waited a few more minutes and tried to orient myself based on the menu as to what was available in which area of ​​the restaurant. But no one cared that I was standing in the middle, helpless. So I left again. As a woman traveling alone in Italy, this sort of thing happens. Oh yes, the ambience is part, part. On one side the sea, on the other side the street noise.

04/08/2024: Da fuori non sembra il piccolo gioiellino che è in realtà. Molto carino, personale cortese e piatti interessanti. Gentilezza e professionalità sono di casa. Consiglierei non il sabato sera per le Coppie perché essendo un posto piccolo l’acustica non è delle migliori, Sono stata una domenica a pranzo ed era perfetto!

10/08/2024: Nice location on the lake shore. Friendly and attentive staff. Fast service. Abundant and very good dishes. Parking is a bit laborious and requires a fee (coins are required). The complimentary croissants for breakfast are very nice!

30/08/2024: Very good pizza, there is the possibility to choose different types of dough with and without gluten, multigrain, wholemeal and squid ink. The place is clean and recently renovated, the waiters are friendly, a really wide selection of pizzas and the ones I ate were very good, the only "flaw" is the parking, unfortunately there are few parking spaces outside the place, on weekends I recommend you book. The pizza is a must try, average prices

29/08/2024: It must be good but we traveled 40km to go to dinner there and when we arrived we found it closed for holidays. They don't advertise it on Google or on the answering machine, they even allowed reservations through Google. A little updated information would be appreciated. In the end we went to a supermarket that was about to close and we could buy some gluten-free products for dinner. 🤷🏻‍♂️

19/08/2024: Beautiful little place overlooking the lake, 10/10 pizza after a long stay in the south (Naples and surrounding areas) this pizza really tastes like Neapolitan pizza, good dough, balanced and not at all heavy, to try and return

18/08/2024: This is a review for the beautiful restaurant at Hotel Vapore. We did not stay at the hotel, but we came here to have dinner on our first night in Torno. The lakeside terrace offers amazing views and creates a beautiful atmosphere. The food was excellent, and the staff were very attentive . We felt well cared for and had a really great experience. Highly recommend! Thank you

25/08/2024: Beautiful setting, food presentation was very good but several of us found our meals extremely salty, looked better than it tasted. We arrived around seven thirty, party of seven and were accommodated without a reservation. By the end of our meal it was very busy and the service staff was overworked.

23/08/2024: In barca con 2 amici a pranzo poichè hanno il pontile di fronte. Location invidiabile con balcone sul lago e tutto molto pulito. Accoglienza sin dall'attracco molte cortese, personale preparato sorridente competente ed accogliente. Il menù è da invidia avremmo preso tutta la degustazione ma ci siamo dati un ritegno. Cantina da tutto rispetto. Chef che dalla cucina esce e saluta. Conto coerente a quanto abbiamo mangiato e bevuto. Che dire.. Esperienza fantastica! Ci tornerò.

25/05/2024: I have always been coming to this place for years, I love their yoghurt both when I eat it there and when I take it home, but this evening unfortunately I didn't find it as usual, I took two yoghurts to take home all spread out in the cup that came out of under the lid for garnish I asked for all Nutella, there was practically nothing only yoghurt. I hope next time to find myself as always, I wouldn't want to give up this fantastic yogurt 🫶🏻
