18/09/2025: I dined at this restaurant and had a truly pleasant experience. The staff was very kind, welcoming, and always available to accommodate any request with a smile. The food was excellent: dishes with attention to detail, beautifully presented, and rich in flavor. The warm, relaxed atmosphere made the evening even more enjoyable. It's definitely a place I'll return to and one I recommend without hesitation!

19/08/2025: Very nice place, friendly and knowledgeable staff, a wide selection of meats, cooked to perfection, and an excellent wine list. We were pampered from start to finish. I can't recommend it enough, especially for meat lovers.

11/10/2025: You walk down the street and the smell of food makes you stop and look at what there is to eat. I saw dishes you wouldn't see anywhere else and they explained to me that it was traditional food from their parents' and grandparents' kitchens. Besides the delicious food, the place has a special decor and a lot of personality. You can tell the staff loves what they do because they treat you with warmth, and you can see it's a place where locals stop to eat, chat, or say hello. It feels like a place that's been around forever, just like the food. Thank you for a lovely evening with my partner; it rounds off the wonderful day we had on Lake Como.

05/10/2025: Excellent food, amazing location. It's a shame we booked for 7 at 1:30 PM, but at 2 PM we had to get a table ourselves just to be seen. Furthermore, when we asked for an aperitif while waiting for a table, we were told they couldn't do it because they were busy. Terrible service!

20/08/2025: All around excellent, and a true pearl indeed in this corner of the world. No single dish disappointed, even down to the warm dessert which blew our minds. With every mouthful you can tell the food is fresh. To top it all, some of the warmest and kindest service we've experienced. 10/10, will absolutely be back.

22/06/2025: Truly delicious food! During the week (Monday to Friday), they offer a set menu with a main course, a second course, water, wine, and espresso—all at a really fair price. On weekends, you can either choose a set menu or order à la carte. I had fettuccine with porcini mushrooms—super freshly prepared and absolutely delicious! The menu is small but fine. Overall, a friendly place with good food and fair prices. I'll be back!

10/07/2025: Questo posto gode di una vista eccezionale sul lago di Como. Se pranzi in terrazza ti ritrovi sopra Bellagio godendo una vista unica. Penso che la vista sia nel conto finale non proprio economico. La cucina è curata, il servizio gentile e veloce, il menù non ampio ma sufficiente per gustare le specialità lariane. immancabile il risotto col pesce persico e i missoltini con la polenta. Il conto è risultato piuttosto caro considerando i piatti e che abituati ai conti dei ristoranti di Milano ci ha fatto pensare che la vista sia inclusa nel prezzo.

20/09/2025: Filthy. The worst restaurant in Italy. Canned mushrooms, store-bought pasta, and ingredients that aren't fresh at all. The prices are tempting, but you'll regret it. Look elsewhere; there are plenty of other restaurants in Menaggio.

19/09/2025: 45 minutes before lunch break, unfortunately, no table was available, only "pizza to go" was offered, and at a "Procuiutto e Funghi" we got canned mushrooms, and the pizza was almost tasteless... What a pity

30/09/2025: ^^update^^ After having a phone call and 2 texts from the owner since we have returned to the UK trying to get me to remove my review comments Iv now given it 1star not 2 !!! Called me a liar and apparently I was sitting in doors on the best table ? Pics tell another story Review - Our visit to the restaurant (not hotel) was quite an experience. Thunderstorms and heavy rain was forecast for the evening and all night so were a bit surprised when we were seated right next to the waters edge and not under a canopy as the clouds were already on us . Waited 10 mins for a menu although only a handful of people were there being seated (also on the outer edge) . Was finally asked if we wanted an aperitif and given the menus . The prices for food are very reasonable and range from €18-€30 which we thought was very good for the quality of food . However after asking for the wine list after ordering the food (wasn’t shown one before ) we were presented with an iPad that had about 15 red wines on it that ranged from €50 - €360 !! Wasn’t expecting to spend such an amount on a drink when the food wasn’t in that price bracket and neither did the hotel look it (3 stars) After basically telling him we didnt want any wine his whole attitude to us seemed to change and rest of the evening felt awkward. The actual young waiter who did serve us food etc and clear the tables was fantastic however . Chaos came when the heavens opened up and Everyone (about 6 tables in all) suddenly needed to be moved under shelter . Headless chickens came to mind as the “big chiefs” moved plates , cutlery etc around onto tables they had for some reason only 10 minutes before cleared off . Anyway to sum it up , very good food for price but expect to be ignored and treated differently by some staff if you are not spending €100 on a bottle of wine .

22/06/2025: Excellent restaurant, I went there for a business lunch and I had a great time

13/06/2025: In the area for work they recommend this place for lunch. I arrive around 1pm, not very crowded. They offer me the menu of the day with 3 choices for each course. Given the hot day I opt to take only a second course with side dish. Let's say that €13 for only a second course and side dish with water and coffee is perhaps slightly expensive compared to the average. Anyway, a good meal, for a business lunch I recommend it given the quality.

21/09/2025: The food was good and served relatively quickly given the large number of customers. The atmosphere was a bit noisy with so many people.
