23/01/2026: Got into this place unexpectedly, so we didn't have a reservation. However the staff has found a nice place for us. The dinner was fabulous: fresh products, excellent blend of tastes. The dishes were served quickly.
This restaurant is an exceptional combination of delicious food, service, fantastic venue with a lake view and overall good atmosphere.
We didn't try their wine selection though, but I believe it will be worth your attention 😉

27/02/2026: We had a fantastic experience at Il Viconilo del Paninenia, and a big part of that was thanks to Vlad.
From the moment we sat down, he was attentive, friendly, and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu. He took the time to explain the different sandwich options and gave great recommendations.
The sandwiches were absolutely excellent—fresh ingredients, perfectly balanced flavors, and clearly made with care.
You can taste the quality in every bite. Vlad made sure everything arrived promptly and checked in just the right amount to ensure we were happy without being intrusive.
If you’re visiting, I highly recommend asking for Vlad. Great service and outstanding sandwiches made for a memorable meal.

The two young men working the dining room were very courteous and professional.
I would suggest the owners fix the front door, which rarely stayed closed and let in a decidedly cold and unpleasant air.
I would also suggest the owner (or manager, for that matter) avoid taking videos... besides not being elegant to look at, there might be people who don't like being filmed.
As for lunch, on my first visit to a pizzeria, I always order a Margherita pizza. Good. Worth it.
The draft beer, Messina, is also appreciated.
The babà and panna cotta were very popular for dessert.
The prices, considering the quality, are absolutely fair.
Recommended.
10/02/2026: The worst pizza you can find in Italy! Broken shells in the pizza. I almost choked. Not recommended unless you want to spend your vacation in the hospital.

The food is fabulous; the dishes are hot, filling, and tasty.
The menu offers a variety of traditional Valtellina dishes.
The service was excellent; the owner personally comes to introduce and recommend the appetizers and various dishes (he was very kind).
The atmosphere is large and welcoming, with the perfect temperature.
The price is very fair for everything you eat, and the portions are generous.
Highly recommended; I'll definitely be back to try other dishes!

17/11/2025: In a world where music is losing its fundamental pillars and turning into a giant garbage can (AI will soon be the one to deal the final blow and fill it up), Silvano and Centrale are one of the few strongholds still holding firm, trying to maintain the high quality of their offering while making room for all those bands that don't conform to the crowd. Good thing so. The icing on the cake is the extremely high-quality bar and food service.

A complete disaster. The seafood was not fresh and smelled fishy, especially the lobster pasta which was unbearable. The fish was so salty that it was literally inedible. On top of the terrible food, the service is appalling. The owner is extremely rude and treats customers with zero respect, lecturing us as if we were children. It is a classic tourist trap with low-quality ingredients and a toxic attitude. Save yourself the trouble and stay away!

24/02/2026: We found it by chance and ordered pizza. One traditional pizza and one special from their weekly menu. Both were delicious. The place was clean, and the staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. We'll definitely be back!
22/02/2026: Whole weat pizza was just amazing (called winter pizza, I think). Nice touch of orange! Rich, savory flavor without the heavy 'carb crash' afterward. Felt very light.

11/01/2026: Today we had lunch at "Il Nespolo del Nonno," a farmhouse surrounded by greenery.
Luca is a truly kind and thoughtful person. We ate fantastic cured meats and delicious tagliatelle with ragù, and the desserts were truly delicious.
An ideal place for a Sunday lunch, as you can see the farm animals (cows and peacocks) outside.
I recommend calling in advance, as the place isn't very big, it's very popular, and above all, the quality/price ratio is excellent.
We'll definitely be back!
16/11/2025: We had lunch in a very refined setting and felt like we were at home, with abundant and tasty dishes.
A family welcome, very kind and helpful.
I think it will become our go-to place for Sunday lunch.
Excellent cleanliness, including the bathrooms, which in other places leave much to be desired.
Compliments to all the staff.
My children also thank you, who enjoyed the games offered for entertainment, especially the shanghai game, which we parents also participated in.

28/12/2025: A rustic, old-fashioned location with small, cozy rooms, it's not a fancy place! All this is set in a beautiful old farmhouse. The food is good, but if you're vegetarian or vegan, it's not the place for you. The service is good and the journey is "typical."
