The restaurant of hotel Locando Milano was fantastic! Great hours as other nearby restaurants in Brunate had closed and we stumbled across the beautiful spot and just had to go in. Great food, drinks, and hospitality. The owner is incredible and treated us like family!

Just went there to eat something. The food was ok but the service was interesting. The owner or chief was pushing us to order the most expensive food that there was and was disappointed when we didn’t! And for the drinks there, they were way too expensive! If you want to stop there to get something to eat it’s great but not the best

Excellent staff, very delicious food. The location is great, right on the way to the hiking trail, with relatively few tourists. Truly the best restaurant in Italy I have experienced.

Had a really great experience at Locanda Milano 1873. The food was delicious, with authentic Italian flavors and high-quality ingredients, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout the whole meal. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a lovely place to enjoy a relaxed lunch/dinner. What impressed me the most was their honesty and kindness. I accidentally left my bag with my wallet inside at the restaurant, and when I called the next day, they had safely kept it for me. I really appreciated this gesture, as it shows how trustworthy and professional the staff are. I would definitely recommend this place.

05/06/2026: We were always warmly welcomed here and even better served. Reservations are highly recommended. They serve the best calzone in all of Italy, and perhaps the world. A must-visit when staying at Lake Como. Simply outstanding!
02/06/2026: We ordered two pizzas at the restaurant. Both pizzas were quite good, but unfortunately, there wasn't enough topping for our liking. Due to the restaurant's location, the view of the water was rather limited. What I found very disappointing was the tiramisu. In my opinion, it was prepared without any care. It had no coffee flavor at all, the cocoa wasn't evenly distributed, and the cream wasn't as light and airy as I've often had before.

30/05/2026: I've been there at least four times, and tonight I'm going back. Everything is always impeccable. Excellent food and attentive service, and the owner is very friendly. I recommend it.
25/05/2026: Always a guarantee. Excellent food, great variety, and authentic flavors. The staff at this restaurant are friendly and welcoming. The only thing I think I would improve is the lighting. Some areas are a bit too dark. We've been here a thousand times now, and I can only recommend it.
