10/12/2025: The pumpkin tortelli were fabulous. The main course and dessert weren't to my liking. The service: One of the waitresses was a bit rude when putting down the plates and cutlery.

The food is truly excellent; you can taste the quality of the ingredients, with unique combinations that make you want to try everything. 04/04/2026: Beautiful spot. Honestly one of the most beautiful restaurants I’ve been to. Wish they had a bit more on the menu but the meat and cheese board was still nice.

02/04/2026: We were seated in the underground wine cellar stone walls, old barrels, candlelight. One of the most atmospheric dining rooms I’ve ever been in. The food matched the setting. Smoked salmon rose to start, then two pastas: spaghetti with caviar in a silky cream sauce, and paccheri in pistachio cream with cured meat. Both were outstanding. Dessert was a pistachio dome and the best tiramisu I’ve had in a long time. The two brothers running the front of house made the whole evening. Warm, genuine, no performance just real hospitality. If you’re near Lake Como, ask to sit in the cellar. You won’t forget it.

25/02/2026: When we want oysters, raw fish, and seafood in general, we come here. The platter, flambéed scallops, gratinated razor clams, and Catalan-style lobster are all very good. Various mussel options are available, both in half- and one-kilo versions. Good wines and champagnes, with low markups. Recommended.

The food is regional and locally sourced produce for that season. Every aspect of the menu is thoroughly thought for flavour and appearance. The service was outstanding. 10/02/2026: Both lunch and dinner were wonderful! Excellent value for money, both for lunch and dinner. The entire staff is excellent, expertly led by the young and talented Pietro and supervised by his father Giancarlo! You feel right at home! What more could you want? They pay great attention to their customers, who become friends just by frequenting the restaurant. And above all, the menu changes every week, both for lunch and dinner, so you can indulge in the choice of dishes: whether you choose appetizers, first courses, or main courses of meat (you can enjoy amazing Florentine steaks) or fish (even the raw fish is exceptional, on par with the royal plateaus enjoyed in France, especially in Brittany and Normandy), you can never go wrong. And finally, their homemade desserts are truly superb. All accompanied by excellent wines, both by the bottle and by the glass. As a TV personality said a few years ago: try it and believe it!

01/03/2026: We chose La Madonnina as our wedding caterer, and we couldn't have asked for a better one! From the first meeting, they were helpful, professional, and attentive to the smallest details. Their menu is extensive, and the dishes are wonderful—so good we had a hard time choosing the ones for the menu. They were fantastic in everything, from the initial table selections to the meticulous organization of the day. Beyond the quality of the food, we truly appreciated their willingness to take care of all the "ancillary" tasks, such as printing menus, table plans, confetti displays, and table markers. Everyone was incredibly kind and always available to answer any questions in the months leading up to the wedding, and during the event, they were superb, even changing the buffet layout several times to accommodate the somewhat unpredictable weather. Our guests complimented both the food and the kindness and attentiveness of the entire staff. We loved everything about them; it's a choice we would make again and again! ❤️

07/03/2026: Very beautiful place, both inside and out. The food is plentiful, served quickly, and the staff is friendly and professional. I highly recommend this restaurant as it's close to the city of Mantua, yet it's surrounded by a very relaxing natural setting. Farm animals are also on the website. I promise to go again. There is a wide range of dishes to chose from so it made it hard to decide what to get but in the end we ended up ordering a lot of dishes and every single one was so delicious! The price is reasonable for the quality. I have already recommended this place to my friends when they are working in the area and I will certainly be back again.

There's no traditional cuisine here, but a meticulously curated selection of local products, presented and described by the host with passion, expertise, and love for Bergamo's traditions. Incredible cheeses, cured meats, and meats of the highest quality, carefully selected and carefully sourced ingredients. Each bite is accompanied by the host's story, transforming a simple dinner into a true sensory and cultural experience. You can sense that behind every dish there's research, experience, and respect for the ingredients. It's not a "commercial" or overly advertised place, and that's precisely its charm...it's authentic, genuine, built on quality and human connection. You feel like a guest, not a customer. Reservations are required given the intimate size of the place, but it's absolutely worth it. We give it top marks and recommend it to anyone looking for a different experience, filled with authentic flavors, an intimate atmosphere, and genuine passion. We'll definitely be back.
