29/05/2025: Recently visitied with my son, as we had enjoyed the food here a couple of years ago. Once again certainly didn't dissapoint. The pizzas are fantastic. A hidden gem which seems popular with locals and very reasonably priced too.

29/05/2025: Hemos cenado aquí 2 x ahora y hemos disfrutado absolutamente de ambas comidas! El personal es muy amable, siempre trae la comida a la mesa humeante caliente y ha estado delicioso. Hemos tomado el penne arrabiatta, los espaguetis con mariscos (almejas, mejillones en salsa roja) y un par de pizzas. El lugar se pone ocupado, en su mayoría locales y las reservas son necesarias para la cena, aunque almorzamos un día sin reservas y no fue un problema. Los precios son muy razonables para la comida estupenda, simple y honesta, sabroso y gran servicio también!

05/06/2025: The room was cleaned, had a separate bathroom. There was also a balcony. You can do self check in meaning you can come whenever you want. We did not notice but if you want on the corridor there are tea, you can use those. There are 2 different set of breakfast. Maybe more breakfast variety or more options. Do go visit the small castle above For the restaurant, quality is good but not quantity.

19/05/2025: I came across this place thanks to the positive reviews...it's all true. The owner Raffaele "Skizzo" (and his friends) make you feel immediately at ease. The food and cocktails are really quality (try the livellanza). Going to Varese without stopping at Balthazar is like visiting the city and not climbing the sacred mountain ;)

11/05/2025: I happened to eat here about two weeks ago and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were very kind, from first to last! The dishes are nothing short of exquisite... so many choices for all types of palates! If you are in the area I recommend you go and pop in.

02/05/2025: We went to this restaurant for lunch with friends and had a great time. Welcoming atmosphere, attentive and friendly service. We all got the risotto and it was truly delicious: creamy, flavorful and perfectly creamed. Right portions, relaxed atmosphere and excellent value for money. We will definitely be back!

05/05/2025: When I get off work and I'm tired/nervous/in need of affection, I come in here. I take a number of chocolates proportionate to the strength of my emotions ranging from 3 to 5. I go out, go home and eat my chocolates. The universe realigns itself, so do I.

13/05/2025: English: We stayed here the night before and after our wedding, because we got married at Tenuta Virgnia (Villa d'Almè), but we live in another area and wanted to be close. We contacted Cascina Belvedì to reserve some rooms for us and our guests. We went to see the property first, then we confirmed. Extremely helpful. Simple rooms, a little old. The property is very beautiful, with a spectacular view of the valley. It has its own parking lot, but the road to get there is a little difficult, with a few curves. It has an outdoor pool, hot tub and sauna. Spectacular breakfast, good choice, but above all excellent quality. Veronica was very kind, extremely helpful, a saint. We didn't have dinner at the restaurant, but it seemed very well-kept and good. The only thing was the rooms were a little dated, not much space to lean on. The bathroom tub leaked a little and was a little cold. But overall a great experience. I recommend it both for a stay and for lunch or dinner. But book early because it fills up quickly

12/05/2025: Saying that the dishes are fantastic isn't enough, we waited a bit but it was worth it! There is something to say about the parking, in fact I recommend arriving around midday because it fills up afterwards

21/05/2025: Trattoria in the true sense of the word, a little out of the way from the city (I was in Monza) but it was worth it

22/05/2025: Perfect restaurant on Lake Como, ideal for family parties, banquets, but also romantic dinners for couples. Large terrace on the lake, closed in winter and open in summer and cooled, from which you can enjoy a splendid view throughout the meal. The dish for which the restaurant is rightly famous is the unmissable risotto sottovento with perch, tasty but delicate at the same time. Recommended!

19/05/2025: El lugar es bastante caro, pero definitivamente está pagando por la vista y no la comida. Algunos “alimentos seguros” como la pasta estaban bien, pero la comida en general era bastante desagradable. El servicio era dulce y agradable, pero lamentablemente no disfrutamos de las comidas. Algunos de nosotros utillamos los menús con el pescado, estos no fueron de nuestro agrado. Definitivamente no sabía fresco en absoluto y todos tenían la misma consistencia tibia. Sin embargo, tienen grandes bebidas, etc., por lo que el lugar sería perfecto para un par de bebidas y una cesta de pan.
