Attentive and attentive staff, yet always discreet. Excellent wine cellar with a wide selection of wines for all budgets and palates, even the most refined. Excellent value for money. We stopped at this restaurant somewhat by chance, after a quick search, on our way to Lake Garda, and I must say it was an excellent and fortunate stop for us. The restaurant is beautiful and elegant, the staff is extremely friendly, and the food is truly delicious. They also took great care of our two-and-a-half-year-old daughter. The price was fair.

Without a doubt, the best dinner we had during our holiday in Brescia, Cremona, and Pavia. It's located in Pieve San Giacomo, in a restored farmhouse that retains its rural setting. The dining room is elegant without being overbearing, and the welcome and the storytelling behind the dishes are restrained. The dishes are a triumph of Lombard cuisine, respecting tradition with appropriate reinterpretations. You leave remembering the taste of what you've tasted, paired with a wine from the extensive menu. The prices are certainly lower than many "fine dining" restaurants, which can't compete with the fine, refined food at this osteria, which Slow Food awarded with the snail in its Osteria d'Italia guide.
