26/07/2025: Inaspettata scoperta. dopo una breve risalita all’inizio della Val Paghera il rifugio si staglia su una curva con comodi parcheggio. Beh, mangiato tagliatelle al ragù di lepre che erano anni che non gustavo così buoni, idem quelle con i funghi e l’antipasto con carne salada e tortei di patate (tipo rosti) e anche lardo di patanegra da leccarsi baffi, dita e piatto. Un vino in bottiglia che stanno sperimentando per far diventare il loro di punta, 11€…roba in contrasto con i prezzi ormai folli di Ponte di Legno. In due abbiamo speso 70€. Da ripetere in tutte le stagioni. Gestione famigliare super accogliente, quasi romagnola.

21/07/2025: A typical Mantuan experience featuring excellent local flavors. The tortelli are noteworthy. A simple and informal place that nevertheless leaves a lasting impression: the staff runs it very well. Worth repeating.

06/07/2025: I dine at this place quite often. The dishes are always good, the cold cuts and cheeses are of quality as are the wines offered (in different price ranges). The must-try in my opinion is the egg and taleggio pan, but beyond that, any dish you choose will be satisfied.

I went for lunch on Sunday with my family and a couple of friends, and I must say I immediately felt at home, warmly welcomed by the entire staff, who stood out for their kindness and professionalism! The wine list is very good and extensive, and the ingredients are excellent and beautifully presented, perfectly reflecting the simplicity and authenticity of the entire atmosphere! Well done! Highly recommended, and I advise anyone reading this to book so as not to miss out on the opportunity to spend a relaxing moment in a family-friendly atmosphere!

19/07/2025: I'm revising my previous review. This is a historic Mantua restaurant. Traditional dishes, but sometimes, in the kitchen, they lose their composure. On the last occasion, for example, we were served a first course that, to call al dente, was simply too much. What's disappointing is not seeing a smile. In other words, there's a lack of "friendliness," and that's a shame: perhaps the customer would appreciate it.

18/06/2025: Siamo stati a visitare la splendida città per incontrare amici di Modena, poi pranzo specialità mantovane. Anoli allo stracotto, lingua con il bagnetto verd, stinco di maiale, prosciutto e melone tortelli di zucca e sbrisolona il tutto una favola, il caffè NO! prezzi troppo alti. La prossima volta trattoria dell'oca.

23/07/2025: Purtroppo, oggi è stata una delusione e ci sono stato per la terza volta nel giro di 3 mesi. Ma devo segnalare questa cosa. A mio avviso (e dei miei commensali) la carne ala brace ricevuta era scaldata, e sicuramente non era stata cotta d poco tempo. CI siamo seduti e ci si è stata servita dopo scarsi 10 minuti. Ma il gusto era evidentemente di una carne scaldata, stopposa e secca. Mi spiace. La prossima volta fate attenzione.

06/07/2025: Siamo stati oggi a pranzo in questa struttura. Posto molto bello e immerso nella natura. Cibo e qualità non all'altezza del prezzo. Personale scortese soprattutto il signore che assegna i tavoli ed è alla cassa . Non ci ritorneremo mai più
