A little narrow but you can taste good wine and excellent food

Every time we stop in Mantua we stop (or at least try) in this place. Family run, excellent hospitality. We took a platter for two with cold cuts, cheeses and mustards. Very honest price. 5/5

Small, welcoming and clean place just like the taverns "of the past"! My husband and I ended up there by chance, and we entered without having booked, even though there was a <<FULLY FULL>> sign outside, they made us sit at the only free table at the entrance, a gesture that we really appreciated. Staff very very kind and attentive to customer needs, ready to provide any explanation requested. Really good food, my husband and I shared a medium platter with salami, Grana, mustard and cicoli, to continue I took the tortelli with stracotto and shaded with red wine (really very good and the fresh pasta delicious!) for my husband instead the beef cheek with baked potatoes, the portions are really generous and you will definitely leave there feeling really full! A truly extensive wine and beer list! Really excellent value for money, I hope to have the pleasure of returning!

Locale accogliente con personale gentilissimo e competente. Abbiamo degustato lasagne con crema di zucca e taleggio, pollo alla Gonzaga con ottimo petto di pollo grigliato all'aceto balsamico e insalatina con uva passa e pinoli. Finale con torta sbrisolona mantovana accompagnata da crema allo zabaione innaffiata...

Siamo stati a pranzo in questo particolare enoteca,gestita da due ragazzi molto carini. Il menù comprende taglieri di salumi vari con salumi molto buoni e formaggi accompagnati da mostarda di pere e mela. Primi tipici e per finire sbrisulona con zabaione top. Ottimo vino lambrusco...

We ate for lunch on a Sunday (reservation recommended), everything was exceptional, including the wine. Few dishes, but well made and very tasty. Very friendly and kind staff. Definitely recommended.
