The pumpkin tortelli are amazing, made with incredibly thin pasta layers… a true masterstroke! I'm not ashamed to say I greedily ate the cured meats with my hands, along with the small Mantovana bread. A good, honest Mantuan Lambrusco. The welcome was very pleasant, and the final bill was absolutely balanced. My compliments, Guido with Giulia

Trattoria in the heart of Mantua. Outdoor seating in a charming courtyard shaded by a beautiful wisteria. Lunch: platter of Mantua cured meats, a trio of pasta dishes, and a torta di rose (rose cake) to finish. Everything was excellent. The pumpkin ravioli and maccheroncini with stew are truly exceptional. The trattoria has been there since 1939, and rightly so. Recommended.

26/07/2026: We booked lunch at the last minute by chance. We had a great time, everything was excellent, the owners were hospitable, the price and quality were all ok, thanks.
28/06/2026: Everything was perfect. We come often, and each time we try new dishes, it's a surprise. The homemade pasta and ravioli are a guarantee. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. The internal courtyard under the pergola is so charming, it feels like home!
