25/05/2025: I am giving this 5 stars, but I cannot come here anymore. While I love their gelato, the management of flavors and pricing is too chaotic. When there is a long line, there is just no way to see the flavors or prices until you actually get up close to the flavors. So there is a bottleneck. Once it’s your turn to get served, many people ask for multiple samples, which slows down the line. Could someone possibly put a chalkboard listing the flavors outside and offer samples while people are standing in line? After scoops are given, the servers take the time to clean the gelato bins, which I appreciate. After paying for the gelato, the seating area has become a bit of a disco/club vibe, with very loud music and people hanging out in large groups for extended periods of time. I’m sure this disco/club vibe is great at night, but during the day with my family, it is a bit of sensory overload. So while I do love the gelato, I wish they did a better job with communicating the flavors of the day, the pricing, and managing that long long line.

25/05/2025: My favorite gelato place in NYC! I'm a regular here and highly suggest their Cookie Man flavor and Sunflower Cream flavor for a nutty, rich, not too sweet combo 🫶🏻🫶🏻 Their chocolate is also yummy! Also there is always a line but I promise, it moves quick and staff are friendly and patient every time! They let you sample and they usually have free wafers they put on top. Also great portion for the price!

18/05/2025: We were there during the week so the turnout was low and the restaurant was very quiet. We were served promptly and carefully. We ordered a platter to share between three accompanied by bread and focaccia, a first course each, very good and well presented, a dessert each (very fresh cheesecake) and a small bottle of wine. Definitely recommended!

For me the TOP starting from the welcome of the now legendary "Pier" for all, the beauty of the restaurant, very elegant and well looked after, and finally arriving at the quality of the dishes, fresh fish, served and accompanied by an accurate description. For oysters obviously don't waste time pretending to understand where they come from, how and for what...Pier is a master at this and there's no doubt about it. Dinner at Pier 52 was a super experience to try and try again. Super recommended.

10/05/2025: Excellent experience. I took part in the risotto course and the lesson was very full of information and ideas. From the basic risotto technique to the way to manage all the condiments (vegetables, fish, cheeses). It's true that they are group lessons but there was the opportunity to try to get behind the stove and understand the times and methods of managing the risotto while cooking. Professional but informal environment, Giuliano, the chef, very very nice. It was my second lesson at the Cingoli laboratory and it will certainly not be the last. A mention should also be made of the courtesy via email, I had a voucher for a certain duration, but wanting to follow the lesson on risotto, the duration was extended in order to allow me to participate in the requested lesson.

08/05/2025: Worst cooking class ever. Chef (but is he a chef? Who is he? I can't find his CV anywhere) disorganised, not very competent, pathetic dishes. Don't go there.

11/05/2025: I spent a week alone in the hotel and it was really beautiful. I had a room with a direct view of the lake. The condition and furnishings were wonderful. The room also includes a small safe and air conditioning. Parking spaces are definitely available, but if there is a wedding or other celebration it can get a bit full. I was notified of a wedding in advance (before check-in) via WhatsApp. The breakfast is also wonderful. There is a varied buffet and you can order coffee and more. In general, all the employees and the owner are incredibly nice and accommodating. Since I speak very little Italian, everything was easily clarified in English. All in all wonderful. If I go to Lago d'Iseo again, I will definitely check if there is a room available here :)

04/05/2025: Nos alojamos en el hotel por una noche y tuvimos una cena degustación incluida en la oferta. El personal es joven y muy amable. La vista desde el lugar es hermosa, incluso si el ambiente no es tan alto como probablemente les gustaría que fuera. Los platos eran buenos, sorprendentemente combinados con sabores y también bien presentados. El servicio fue muy amable, se puede apreciar los esfuerzos en hacerlo más profesional. En general, nuestra experiencia fue positiva, pero al final un poco caro.
