24/07/2024: We stayed in this spectacular hotel during our second stage of the three lakes journey. What can I say, breathtaking views, clean, aesthetically beautiful and comfortable rooms. A beautiful swimming pool. Fabulous breakfast, young and professional staff!!

21/07/2024: It gives the impression that the hotel has undergone a shake-up since our last visit 5 years ago. A young team that felt inexperienced or clumsy in all areas took over this modest hotel. You still have to figure out where you actually want to go. On the one hand, there are cracks and gaps in the floor, no consistent covering of ledges and channels, shabby doors, dirty tablecloths, dirty seat cushions in the garden area burned by cigarettes. Then negative highlights like that on some days there were no towels to change - then you get bathrobes to dry off without comment. Furthermore, there is no refrigerator in the room. The breakfast buffet is not very loving, with few regional products and an almost identical selection every day, although things like bread also run out. On the other hand, you want to be at the “TOP”. Spa for single use only for 20 euros per person for 2 hours, Michelin star for the KITCHEN. 80 euros for an event evening per person - dinner with musical accompaniment. The concept is not coherent and we have to watch where it goes. The honest simplicity of 5 years ago, adorned with the friendliness and the typical Italian charm and the inspiring humanity cannot be felt at the moment. But this was what excited us and therefore prevents us from continuing to recommend this hotel without reservation. We will closely monitor future reviews and base any future bookings on this. As I said, we weren't treated unkindly, but without any temperament and the noticeable joy we had at the time when working on and for the guests and customers. We wish the whole team a quick turnaround and fun and joy in the work that the guests can also see and feel. Unfortunately, climate engineering or geoengineering is also very noticeable. We didn't have a single day with clear visibility and really blue skies. The weather was very poor and, as we learned from locals in restaurants, very untypical. Little good rain, lots of thunderstorms and heavy rain. The locals should pay more attention to this in order to preserve the really beautiful area in the long term.

15/08/2024: Excellent food and great attention to the raw materials. We tasted some really tasty typical Brescian cheeses with honey and jams, a tasty rabbit with seasoned polenta and a soft sandy cake with mascarpone cream. Generous portions and only spent 30 euros each. Water is free. Really kind and attentive owners. We had a really good time

11/08/2024: Cercando in maniera analitica e accurata, per degustare piatti di qualità e del territorio di Brescia, mi imbatto in un'estenuante ricerca, alla fine decido di dare fiducia a questo locale. Presi come piatti: Manzo all'olio, con polenta camuna macinata a pietra, e olio evo di Saló, un Conecc, coniglio alla bresciana, verdurine locali di stagione, e piatto di formaggi 7 tipologie diverse, del presidio slow food: Bagoss, Fatulì, Silter, Stracchino all'antica delle valli orobiche, e altri non slow food ma eccellenti comunque, Formai mut Dop, Erborinato di capra, Gorgonzola castelli oro, accompagnati da miele e cipolla senapata. Piatti cucinati in maniera egregia, mi ritengo fortunato ad avere avuto la possibilità di assaggiare e degustare l'autentica cucina bresciana del territorio. Piatti serviti bollenti, porzioni abbondanti. Abbinato alle pietanze ottimo vinello organic/biologico Benaco Bresciano Rebo Igp delle Cascine Belmonte viticoltori in valtenese, 13% ben bilanciato, buonissimo. Serata perfetta, staff gentilissimo e premuroso, particolare elogio alla cucina e alla grande cortesia del gestore. Purtroppo non ho avuto modo di provare i dolci perché pieno, ma ci sarà sicuramente occasione. Promosso a pieni voti. Prezzi proporzionati alla qualità del cibo offerto. Possibilità anche di formula pranzo da martedì a venerdì.

22/08/2024: Found this place while looking for a restaurant that served Roman cuisine in Brescia and its province and it was really worth it. Really excellent cacio e pepe. Courteous and attentive staff. We will be back to try other dishes.

19/08/2024: The good reviews and the ability to reserve a table online led us to this beautiful restaurant Il Fiore di Zucca in Gardone for dinner on August 16, 2024. Everything worked wonderfully with the online reservation and we got a good table in the beautiful green area covered outdoor area. The menu was pleasantly small but fine, so the selection fell on Carpaccio di Branzino with mojito sorbetto, tartare di manzo, as primo gli spaghetti ai gamberi and tonnarelli cacio e pepe. Accompanied by a vino bianco, a Lugana Garda Marzemino DOP from Bruno Franzosi, which went wonderfully with the chosen dishes. The food was absolutely delicate and of the best quality and refreshing! A culinary experience! Fantastic! Unfortunately we were too full for a secondo and dessert, but a grappa was the last option. The service was very professional, very friendly, nice and fast! We can therefore fully recommend the restaurant Il Fiore di Zucca and would come back at any time! Mille Grazie, tanti Saluti! Armin & Jasmin

05/08/2024: Amazing classic Italian food - just go as both food and service was on point. We can as a group of 8 and had almost the menu and shared plates of both amazing fish and beef

05/08/2024: For a restaurant, you can't ask for spaghetti with seafood and you only get spaghetti with two prawns, 5 mussels and a few pieces of calamari, same for the seafood pizza... very disappointed not to mention the price. I don't advise

10/08/2024: I had a cake made for a 60th, what can I say... Amazing both aesthetically and tastefully! They let me choose between various fillings and bases and created a customized cake for me! Super recommended, I think I'll be back soon✨

05/08/2024: Simply everything fantastic! I had them make the cake for my baby's first birthday. Spirit themed… And what can I say? BEAUTIFUL… But not only that... it was also VERY GOOD!
