It was wonderful to celebrate my birthday in this historic restaurant with my family. The best casoncelli in the valley. Everything is delicious and high quality, including the homemade desserts. The staff is always welcoming, especially Elena, who is excellent! We've known this place for over 20 years, and it's always nice to return.

Location: The place is very original and classic, beautifully decorated both inside and out. It's on the main road of ValPiana and is a popular stop for locals from the plains. Menu: It offers classic Bergamo fare, with generous portions, but more like a restaurant. Prices are fair, and the quality reflects the price; in fact, the price is lower than the quality, which is very high. The taragna is good, although I think it's a little too cheesy, but it's still fine. The rest of the food is delicious. I had the wild boar, which was incredibly tender and flavorful; it didn't taste too gamey, which I really appreciated. Service: The waitresses are kind and attentive, always available. Definitely worth a try if you're passing by!

As soon as you enter, you're instantly transported to a special atmosphere: you immediately feel at home, welcomed by an authentic warmth. The menu isn't overflowing with a myriad of options, but focuses entirely on a few top-quality mountain dishes. The gnocchi are the highlight. I've tried all sorts, but Luisella's are unrivaled and unrivaled. Reason enough, in and of itself, to justify the trip. Specialties like 𝐥𝐚 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚 𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐚 and 𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐜𝐜𝐡𝐢 are pure poetry, while 𝐢𝐥 𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐡𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐞 𝐥𝐚 𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐨 𝐼𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐥𝐚 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞. Good selection of wines at very fair prices, a rarity for this level of quality. The service is of an old-fashioned courtesy: the staff is attentive, pampered from start to finish. A small warning: the beauty of the place and the goodness of the dishes make this place a must-visit, and this speaks volumes about the restaurant's reputation. A well-deserved five stars. My wife and I were invited to a fiftieth wedding anniversary party. We enjoyed all the dishes on offer, which were truly delicious. A visit to this restaurant is definitely worth recommending. Thank you.
