Opposite Visconti Castle, in a very quiet town, while transiting through Malpensa Airport waiting for my flight, I found this beautiful restaurant with incredibly friendly and helpful staff and a Michelin-starred menu. The interior decor is fantastic, with 17th-century stone walls and wooden beams on the roof; it was once the castle's barn. The menu was fantastic, and the chef was very talented. I tried a true Milanese saffron risotto that wasn't even on the menu. The best ever. Great selection, and I'll be back.

I had a wonderful experience at Castigo. The atmosphere is warm and stylish, with a very authentic Italian vibe that makes you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. The food was excellent 🫶🏼🫶🏼 fresh ingredients, beautiful presentation, and full of flavor. You can really tell there is care and passion behind each dish.
The staff was also very friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. It’s the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy great food, and have a memorable evening.
Definitely a restaurant I would happily return to when in the area. Highly recommended!

An intimate yet convivial venue. Impeccable service, always there when needed but never stuffy or intrusive. Superlative cuisine captivates your senses with a beautifully integrated and delicious blend of tradition and fresh modernity. A restaurant where you can feel at ease and make your guests feel at ease. I will return again and highly recommend it.

The lunch menu includes an appetizer, first course, and second course. Two courses are enough to fill you up, and the food is good quality. We spent €73 for two, including a first course, second course, water, a glass of wine, coffee, and a ginseng. Everything was delicious.

Amazing experience throughout - before entering the restaurant we were greeted by the owners.
The service was quick and attentive, food fresh and deliciously served and place had a great vibe where locals seem to attend as well. Staff spoke a good English and were able to recommend a good selection of dishes. Overall highly recommended.

While waiting to catch a plane, we discovered and dined at this quaint little restaurant, built in exposed stone and located beneath the medieval Visconti Castle. Highly recommended; the fresh pasta dishes are excellent, with top-quality ingredients and typical local wines. Try the house dessert, "la sfera al cioccolato," which is the bomb. Beyond the culinary experience, you'll also treasure the friendliness, hospitality, and warmth of the two owner brothers, supported by a trained, professional staff and a team of talented chefs. Punishment forever!

P.S. We don't eat the risotto alla milanese, but we recommend it!

The food is homemade, and I like the authentic, intense, and balanced flavor.
The restaurant has a small menu, but that helps the quality. It's better to offer less and make it taste better.
The food isn't cheap, but it's worth the price.
The interior is rather rustic and natural. You can see the old stone wall very nicely. I like that, but if someone is looking for a trendy restaurant, this isn't the place for them.
