The waiters were very kind, the service was impeccable and fast. The chickpea hummus was good, which I had never had before. The mussels with pepper sauce were average, and they tasted fresh. The paccheri also tasted average, in contrast with the fresh ingredients like the shrimp, which were present, and bad with the squid rings and the tiny octopus, which tasted like frozen products. Both dishes were made with a sauce that was good at first glance, but not very fresh, and after a while it became acrid. My pasta dish consisted of 6 paccheri and 6 mussels, a tiny handful of rings and tiny octopus, and I feel that for the quality of the ingredients and the quantity, it is absolutely not a 20 euro dish. In short, 300 euros for 6 first courses of calamarata and 5 mussels with pepper sauce, including water, wine, and table service seems a bit excessive to me...

We stumbled upon this gem and were so pleased! It had excellent food, wine and service. The atmosphere was perfect and the staff attentive! We were treated to hoerderves along the way! The risotto was my favorite! But all our meals were presented beautifully! We ordered 3 different desserts to share and they did not disappoint! If you have time, take a taxi and check it out!!

Delicious food and friendly service

A lively gem hidden in Somma Lombardo. Enjoy a meal right next to the gorgeous castle of the Visconti. Wondrously friendly staff, great location, and good food. I had the mussels, which were one of the best I’ve had. If you find yourself on lago maggiore then you must try this place.

We came here to celebrate a family birthday on the recommendation of friends. Upon entry, we were greeted by two very smiling and kind girls who showed us to our table. The place itself is very beautiful and welcoming, with the option of eating outside with a view of Somma Castle. The owner also introduced himself very formally. Speaking of the food, they welcomed us with an entree offered by the chef, good but not exceptional. Starting from the appetizers, the mussels were really good and of high quality. I won't say anything about this because they were really worth it. The other appetizers weren't as good as we expected, even the culatello was cut a little thick and the fried gnocco was a bit rubbery. Starting from the seafood spaghetti, which was really good and I think the strong point of this place is the fish, but obviously I evaluate everything we had. The agnolotti were good but nothing exceptional, while the cutlet was a little dry and a little tasteless. The experience was certainly not negative, but we expected something more, given the prices, which are medium-high. The wine selection was excellent and of excellent quality. Overall, a good experience. I recommend you visit so you can leave your review and I recommend the seafood dishes!

I've been to this restaurant, I ate a spectacular tuna tartare and I highly recommend the gnocchetti.
