I had the spicy-sweet soup, which was very good and not too spicy. The spicy peanut spaghetti was also very good and highly recommended. Highly recommended!

06/08/2025: The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch. We ordered mostly fish-based dishes, which were very popular. Our only complaint was that some of the less elaborate dishes seemed a bit overpriced. Free parking was easy to find just a few dozen meters away. Overall, a very positive experience!

We stopped here several times for a snack (we had a restaurant in the hotel), so I can only speak about the desserts... and they are truly delicious! 😍 Highly recommended for a sweet treat.

13/07/2025: We had tagliatelle with mushrooms and lasagna. The tagliatelle was quite plain, the sauce lacked flavor and we were expecting something a bit creamier. The lasagna tasted nice, but the portion was small. Surprisingly, no pepper or Parmesan cheese was offered, which would’ve added a lot to the meal. Overall, the food was okay, but there is definitely room for improvement, especially on flavor and value.

19/07/2025: Every time is a unique experience! The dishes are meticulously prepared. Chef Maurizio exudes his passion and professionalism in every dish, constantly discovering new pairings. The wine list is excellent. Laura and the staff are top-notch. The location is enchanting. Without a doubt, my favorite restaurant.

27/07/2025: Excelente almuerzo del domingo en un hermoso jardín sobre Bérgamo. El menú sorpresa ofrecía sabores refinados e inusuales de ingredientes de origen local. Finalmente nos fuimos a regañadientes cuando el sol comenzó a hundirse. IT es un lugar ideal para un fin de semana romántico, ya que también tienen habitaciones. IT no está demasiado lleno y el servicio es bueno pero discreto. Sorprendentemente ahora hay 4 restaurantes en este pequeño rincón de San Vigilio, pero este es el mejor. El acceso es a través de un funicular desde la ciudad vieja, o taxi. El aparcamiento es básicamente imposible.

23/06/2025: A little gem with a big soul We had the pleasure of having lunch at this small but fine restaurant – a place that impresses not only with its food, but also with its wonderful history. The restaurant is family-run, managed with a lot of love and care. We were warmly welcomed by the mother, whose kindness and cordiality were immediately felt. In the kitchen, the daughter prepares each dish with great passion and skill – and you can taste it in every bite. Restaurants like this are true treasures that deserve to be supported. Here you can feel that each dish is prepared with love, tradition and family pride. A place where you feel not only full, but also welcomed with the heart. We will definitely be back!

04/08/2025: Sabato a pranzo, abbiamo preso un piatto di tortelloni alle erbette e una tartare di manzo. I piatti oltre ad essere molto buoni erano anche ben curati nell'aspetto. Come dolce la classica torta di rose con crema allo zabaione che fece chiudere in bellezza il delizioso pranzo. Camerieri attenti al cliente. Sicuramente ci ritorneremo. Bravi!

28/07/2025: A table of about 15 people, an incredible dinner, excellent fish, a delicious seafood spaghetti for the starter, shrimp cocktail, sweet sea bass, and so on. I think one of the best seafood restaurants here in Milan! Highly recommended, excellent waiters!

28/07/2025: A happy accident finding Al Puerto, nearly a year ago my father and I had the most amazing dining experience! Turns out, there was a really interesting area near our hotel that had loads of great restaurants called Darsena del Naviglio, the gateway to Naviglio Grande & Naviglio Pavese - two of the five canals of Milan. I set our sites on one destination as we spontaneously chose the first restaurant we encountered: Al Puerto! This was a wonderful chance for dad and I to enjoy some amazing seafood in a creative and traditional fashion. Everything was meticulous, and I’ve never seen waiters work so, so, so hard! We were on a second story mezzanine of the restaurant and every turn of food was brought up and down those stairs. One of the most impressive displays of service I’ve ever seen, hands down! This restaurant puts every waiter in Vegas, NYC, Paris and Rome to shame. This phenomenal dinner is owed mainly in part to our server Luigi (in the photo with my father and I) as he ensured the best service, quality, and flavors in all of Italy. He went above and beyond what I would ask any waiter for, and yet, his service kept surprising my father and I as he also brought out fun treats and special flavors that we wouldn’t even know to ask for. In addition to this, the aesthetic of the restaurant was beautiful, rustic, and thematic from all angles. I wish we didn't eat so quickly so I could've taken better photos, so we will have to return soon! In addition, Signore Cico and Signore Lorenzi were incredible gentlemen of class and passion, both elevating our experience and encapsulating the memories with incredible service, history, information, insight, amicability and quality. This experience is worth passing on to others, even a year later, this was the most memorable dining experience of all Italy and in all my travels. Please keep up the impeccable quality that you bring to the world, it's an honor to dine here! You easily see, smell, and taste every flavor from beginning to end! Go, book a reservation, & explore with an open palate!
