The photos speak for themselves: it's a shame that technology isn't able to convey the sublime and varied aromas of this meal. The aromas and welcome were truly beyond perfect.

Yesterday afternoon, Monday, my wife and I drove from Rome to Anguillara Sabazia to pick up two jars of face creams, produced by an excellent Anguillara company. We had decided to take the opportunity to have dinner at a local restaurant. On Mondays, several restaurants are closed. Among those open, we chose Sfizio Bistro' for its lake view and moderate prices. We spent sixty euros for two, for: a plate of agnolotti alla scottona; a plate of fried sea and lake fish; two side dishes; two glasses of Sauvignon white wine; and a liter of slightly mineral water. The atmosphere was less welcoming than in the photos. The wine was good and chilled. The side dishes were particularly good.

This restaurant with a heated terrace overlooking the lake is perfect for a seafood lunch or dinner. The menu is varied, the staff is very friendly and fast, and the prices are average. It's definitely one of the best places I've tried in the area.

17/05/2026: I returned months later, and it's still a sure thing. Excellent food, with authentic and well-prepared dishes, friendly and welcoming service that makes you feel right at home, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere perfect for a relaxing evening. The price is also noteworthy, fortunately still reasonable for the quality offered. Highly recommended!

11/08/2026: The pizza was excellent, crispy and tasty. I was surprised by the lightness of the dough. Another highlight were the paper napkins, comparable in durability and quality to cloth ones.
08/08/2026: A restaurant with unique flavors, the continuous search for ingredients and quality is their strong point, attention to detail and kindness distinguishes them, the wood-fired pizza with refined and selected ingredients is truly delicious.
