What can I say? Everything was perfect, the gricia with truffle was amazing, the tagliata with truffle was equally amazing...10 out of 10.

A triumph of tradition 🍝
Their pasta with wild fennel is simply extraordinary: perfectly al dente, rich, and with an enveloping aroma reminiscent of the Mediterranean scrub. An authentic and memorable dish.

We had lunch on Sunday and everything was perfect: excellent food with generous portions and reasonable prices compared to Rome, attentive and courteous service, and a lovely location.
We ordered the Il Granaro 2.0 platter with excellent Angus cured meats, bresaola, and a wonderful selection of cheeses. It was gigantic and would have cost twice as much in Rome.
We continued with two first courses: a classic gricia (I asked if they could brown the guanciale a little more because I like it a little crispier, and they did it without a problem) and tagliolini with artichokes and shiitake mushrooms (and with the addition of truffle at our request).
We had the pleasure of accompanying our lunch with an excellent bottle of Jungano, an Aglianico from the San Salvatore winery (the first place I've visited in Lazio that stocks bottles from this winery, which I love).
To finish, we had their homemade desserts: a warm heart tart and the classic tiramisu.
Total €75 for two for a large appetizer to share (€13), two first courses (€22 total), two desserts (€10), and a bottle of wine (€22).

A year later, the restaurant remains an excellent destination for day trips.
This time, we opted for two second courses instead of first courses and noticed a slight price increase, but nothing excessive. In our opinion, they're stronger on the first courses: the tagliata was a bit stringy, and the stew wasn't bad, but we expected it to be different. Everything was good, but for our taste, the first courses were more satisfying.
We spent a total of €95 for:
Il Granaro 2.0 appetizer (€14) with bruschetta for both of us (€2), a tagliata with artichokes and parmesan (€18), a beef stew (€14), and a portion of baked potatoes (€4). Lunch was accompanied by a bottle of Aglianico suggested by the owner to replace one we'd ordered, but it was sold out (€20). We finished with a tiramisu (€5) and a ricotta and sour cherry tart (€5), accompanied by coffee and grappa.
The owner proved to be a very kind and friendly person, a pleasure to chat with about one of his passions: wine.
We'll definitely be back!!

Let's start by talking about the service: good service, pleasant waiter, attentive to small details.
The food is more than good. I think they could opt for a smaller, more distinctive menu that better reflects the local area. The wait times are a bit long.
The wine list is extensive and offers an excellent selection.
The atmosphere is consistent with the location.

I was shocked by the quality of the food, the reasonable prices, and the fantastic beer selection. I highly recommend this restaurant. The menu is spot-on, the service is friendly, the location is accessible, and the facilities are clean and suitable for everyone. The seating is comfortable. The only small flaw: when I arrived in the adjacent room, there was a group of young people who were decidedly too loud, which at times ruined the experience. Furthermore, there was a diffuser in my room that occasionally released an unpleasant smell. Otherwise, really, nothing to complain about.

Authentic flavors, pasta with sardines is definitely worth trying. The local wine is also good.

Very nice atmosphere, a village tavern carved into the rock, where you can eat excellently, rustic cuisine and low prices.
