Marigold In Roma

A very good coffee shop, the design is modern, the service flawless and the barista really good, loved the coffee here during my trip to Rome

I had heard so much about it but honestly the prices were crazy as if we were in Piazza di Spagna. We took a simple omelette for two which cost €12 (which was honestly small and consisted of two eggs) without vegetables, if you added cheese €2.50 and if you added ham another €2.50, total cost €17.50 per an omelette and €2.50 per coffee at the social table...well even a little less!

Super calm inside! The menu is limited but there are options for people of different dietary restrictions. The food is SO GOOD! We were starving and it was worth the wait.

Nice place, friendly staff, good food with European prices (outside Roman standards) I love their espresso and the cake selection.

Had higher expectations for this place. Ordered eggs Benedict, but it hardly had any hollandaise sauce. Flat white was very bitter. And we had to wait 30 min for a table. Would go somewhere else next time.

An enjoyable breakfast, delicious orange juice and a decent flat white, the service was impeccable and the staff were super friendly. Recommend to book as was busy.

Domenica scorsa ho avuto modo di provare il "brunch" del Marigold. Il locale è davvero carino, minimale, in stile tipico caffetteria danese o londinese. Il personale è stato gentilissimo e all'inizio ero davvero entusiasta. I piatti che passavano vicino a noi sembravano curati, ma già a una prima occhiata le porzioni si presentavano molto piccole. Ho ordinato un grilled cheese (15 euro), letteralmente due fette di pane e formaggio con quattro verdure sottoaceto, e un piattino di shakshuka servito in un mini padellino con due uova (salsa al pomodoro speziata e due uova a 15 euro). In totale, con acqua, caffè e dolce, abbiamo speso in due 63 euro. I prezzi personalmente li abbiamo trovati ingiustificabili neanche con l'utilizzo di ingredienti di alta qualità. In particolare siamo rimasti delusi dalla mancanza di trasparenza, infatti non c'è nessuna indicazione sulla provenienza e la qualità degli ingredienti utilizzati, il che rende difficile giustificare i prezzi elevati. Non stiamo parlando di un ristorante con tovagliato e attenzioni che inevitabilmente incidono anche sul prezzo complessivo di un piatto, ma di una caffetteria bistrot. Mi dispiace di aver avuto un'esperienza negativa in questo bistrot. Il locale è carino e il personale è gentile, ma le porzioni minuscole e i prezzi esagerati non mi permettono di consigliarlo. Mi è sembrato di essere stata presa in giro dalla superficialità di chi pensa che basti una bella presentazione e "instagrammabilità" per giustificare prezzi assurdi.

Place developed with a Northern European concept, perfect for enjoying a brunch immersed in a welcoming environment. Excellent tasty food prepared with organic ingredients, all accompanied by fast service and international staff attentive to your needs. I recommend implementing the offer with additional drinks such as smoothies, chai lattes and ginseng.

I tried Marigold's brunch. After waiting about 45 minutes, we were seated at the social table. The atmosphere is excellent and the design is reminiscent of many international bakeries. The service was kind, precise in the descriptions and quite fast. The hummus with vegetables is excellent, perhaps slightly overpriced. The cinnamon bun is soft and with the right amount of cinnamon. The semla, a stuffed Swedish sweet roll, is also good. I would have liked a greater choice of pastries, given the quality of what I ate, while the choice of cakes and donuts was decidedly rich. The Colombian filtered coffee is also excellent, fruity as described. Overall, a great experience. I would happily go back even during the week.

Very alternative for Roma. Minimal and clean. Great coffee and fine carot cake! I will be back for sure.
