05/09/2025: The worst pizza I've had in Civitavecchia. Transparency is a foreign word...the scales were facing only them, and the receipt was random, with no specifics. Definitely not an experience to repeat.

28/07/2025: Wow! What an amazing find. This little place was packed with locals and I feel fortunate to have stumbled into it. If you are remotely interested in wine, this is a must stop on your visit to Rome. The two men working the bar were extremely polite and even provided me with some dining suggestions in the area. I will definitely be returning here on any of my future visits to Rome. Actually, it's places like this that make me want to re-visit.

27/07/2025: Stopped in for glass of wine, was seated in a beautiful hidden terrace which provided shade. The wine was delicious and the service was friendly! Stop here for an authentic experience with delicious wines.

19/08/2025: Emilio. That’s the reason we’ll go back — and of course for the wonderful food at a fair price. When searching for the right spot, my priorities were clear: *** I wanted an authentic Roman restaurant within walking distance of our hotel, one that served true Roman cuisine and wasn’t overrun with tourists.*** Around lunchtime, I stumbled across this gem and noticed many locals enjoying their meals — always the best sign. I stepped inside to learn more, and saw even more locals! So after a quick greeting and a few words with Emilio, I knew immediately this was where we’d go for dinner. That evening, with dear friends flying in from California for their first night in Rome, the stakes were high — I wanted their welcome dinner to be memorable. I had requested a quaint table best suited for our group of six, and Emilio delivered. His personality shined throughout the evening, embodying why Italians are frequently known as the world’s most passionate hosts when it comes to sharing food and wine. We all selected widely different items from the menu, AND you know a dish is truly good when everyone insists others around the table taste it. But it was Emilio’s engaging hospitality that made the night unforgettable. **Many thanks, Emilio and staff — from all six of us. We’ll be back.**

29/06/2025: I don't like pasta. They offered rice with meat. The rice turned out to be pure dry rice without sauce. The meat turned out to be regular chicken breast. And boiled spinach for 15 euros! We ate much tastier at the Irish Pub for this money. PS I understand that for those who work there this place is probably attractive if you order pasta and coffee. But not for tourists!

03/08/2025: Trattoria consiglia dalla receptionist dell’hotel, come una trattoria dove anche i romani vanno a mangiare. In effetti, nonostante la posizione in zona turistica, il locale era frequentato da clienti locali, questo è sintomo di tradizione romana rispettata, in effetti è così. Piatti molto abbondanti e saporiti. Unica nota stonata il vino rosso da frigorifero, il rosso si serve a temperatura corretta, volgarmente “a temperatura ambiente”.

07/06/2025: We wanted Chinese food and with a couple of friends we came here what can I say? I had some hesitation finding a good Chinese restaurant and quite difficult but here I changed my mind. Very good food, very kind girls, we had dinner outside, we had a great time. We will return. Recommended.
