03/04/2026: Hello everyone, I agree with the previous reviews. It's a small ice cream shop in terms of its storefront, but big on the quality of its ice cream. The pistachio and hazelnut flavors are delicious. They're my two favorites, and I try them at every ice cream shop, which allows me to truly appreciate their taste. This ice cream shop is in my top 5 in Rome.

30/03/2026: Ice cream was okish. The lady was quite unfriendly. You cannot pay just 1 scoop, it is mandatory to pay 2. I do not understand the 4.7 reviews.

07/04/2026: My friend and I went to this bar for happy hour and it was truly fantastic. I had a non-alcoholic Moscow Mule and my friend a non-alcoholic Bloody Mary, both drinks were excellent. The place is very local, welcoming, and intimate, with a truly warm atmosphere. The two guys who worked there were incredibly kind and helpful, and their service made the experience even better.

05/03/2026: The simple and humble location reflects the heart and soul of the Chef, Mr. Luigi, and his partner, who are genuine and very friendly. The service is excellent, and the traditional Roman dishes are exceptional. My two colleagues, our class, and I gave their Carbonara a well-deserved round of applause: it was amazing!!!

28/02/2026: A magnificent experience! A third-generation family-run restaurant serving homemade food with that authentic taste of home. We ordered a Cacio e Pepe and a Carbonara, both spectacular. For dessert, they recommended the flan they had just made; it was still warm… simply divine. Even the bread was delicious!

19/04/2026: This is a great stop if you’re spending the day in Vatican City. It’s a bit off the beaten path, but a short walk from the square. We made a late lunch reservation to tide us over between our museum visit and St Peter’s. We sat outside. The outside patio has a covered seating area to keep you in the shade complete with plexiglass walls to keep rain and bugs away. The service here was efficient and the menu is more “foodie” than many restaurants in the area. I’d highly recommend trying the daily specials. Not an easy menu for kids or picky eaters, but worth it if you’re looking for something more than most of the street cafes in the area.

18/04/2026: Highly recommended spot after an intense morning of sightseeing. It's on a touristy street full of restaurants, but you can immediately tell this one is different. A friend recommended it, and it was one of the best in Rome. I recommend making a reservation for the outdoor terrace.

Well, this is the place. Thanks to Ale for leaving his dad's precious recipes intact. Oh... For those who don't know... Alessandro is the son of "Agustarello"!

10/04/2026: History repeats itself. Alessandro is a master chef who has followed his father (the famous "Agustarello") from his earliest days. (I believe the trattoria and he were founded in the same year or a year apart.) Raised within these walls, he has managed to freeze time through his dishes, which are not just a taste experience, but also a true Roman experience, simple and patient. The offal, the pajata, the tripe, the tail, and all those parts of the animal that were once considered poor, like the period Rome went through at that time, and which only the skilled hands of the women of the time transformed into succulent dishes. When I talk about history, I mean this. Ale didn't touch anything, he left everything as it was. He didn't "toxicate" the dishes to make them modern and Instagrammable, as they say today. So, who is Agustarello for? For two types of people: those who want to remember and be moved, and those who want to truly experience Roman cuisine. Everyone else, go elsewhere. There are plenty of restaurants around here that cater to every taste! I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you on behalf of all Romans. We love you, Alessandro.

05/03/2026: Ahh a nice family run authentic restaurant! The prices are really good and the portions are big. They make their drinks strong too! Such a kind waiters and a really homey and cozy environment.
