The restaurant is now called Tonnarello. In the restaurant next door there was a 40 minute wait and in this one there was 10, that's why we chose it. In reality it took more than 10 minutes and another 20 minutes until they took our order. There were errors in our order (they initially told us we had ordered that, then they reviewed and apologized), supposedly due to a new computer system. Otherwise, the food is delicious and the Argentine waitress is very friendly.

The food is excellent as is the service, fast and ready to meet your requests It's important not to rush because the wait can be long but once you enter you start eating within 5 minutes Remarkable are the Argentinian and South American guys who are kind and thoughtful to make you feel at ease

31/12/2023: In 4 ,4 coche, un'acqua, un antipasto misto, due carbonare , un tonnarello cacio e pepe, un rigatoni all'amatriciana , un sorbetto, un dolce, un amaro , un caffè, tutto ok ,80 euro
11/11/2023: Magari non sarà un ristorante di gran pregio ma in un sabato sera, senza prenotazione, siamo stati accolti con cortesia ed abbiamo avuto una cena piacevole. Buona la carbonara, bella carica, buona la pizza capricciosa, ottimi i saltimbocca alla romana. Servizio a giustamente svelto ma non frettoloso. Prezzo contenuto. A pochi metri da piazza del Popolo

02/04/2024: I came with great expectations due to the hype around this small restaurant hidden in the narrow streets of San Lorenzo. The place Is Simply Styles but with an appreciated minimalistic touch in the furniture. The service was good, the dishes were good in general. The peak arrived with the starter, the fried tripe was very good, cruncy and flavourful without being oily and heavy to digest. Then the tartare was Also vary tasty with a sauce on top which made It very balanced. The fried artichocke was good and the Mayo on side was even Better. The bad came with the main courses. The pork chop was a bit top firm and chewy, and being It braised i expected It to be very soft and tender. Also to much fat, hard to chew. Then the breaded cutlet we got was good, crispy and tender enough, but the sauce was awful, warm cooking cream with champignon floating in the middle...something i would have in the '80s, they could have done Better, especially After what we saw with the starters. The dessert was luckly very good, bread cake with zabaione. Reccomend. Generally good but they can improve, Also considerig the very high prices. More than 100€ for 3 appetizers, 2 mains and 1 dessert. We did not have wine and bread...
30/03/2024: The food is awesome, local and seasonal. The star deduction is only because it is a bit expensive. But it was a great experience. The staff is great! Very thoughtful, kind and service-oriented. There is a great wine selection of European wines and you can taste until you find what suits you best. The restaurant is super stylish, furnished with attention to detail. And very cool illustrations ♥️
