05/10/2025: We found this place randomly after repeatedly getting disappointed by every Tiktok and Reddit recommendations of where to eat in Rome and throughout our Europe trip. It was also during protest day so we weren't sure if they would open. I would definitely recommend showing up when they open (7.30 PM for dinner). There was no sign in front so go by address. We were let in by one of the family members that ran the restaurant. Most of the seats was reserved by locals coming in later. Let me tell you I am writing this review BEYOND MAD. MAD I didn't have the stomach to eat everything on the menu. MAD now I have to justify coming back to Rome just to eat here again. And ABSOLUTELY MAD didn't eat here all three days of our trip instead. Yeah I'd definitely eat here for both lunch and dinner! Yeah I'd cancel a Michelin reservation to eat here instead! If I only had 2 hours in Rome I'd spent 1 hours eating here, 30 minutes digesting, and then another 30 minutes eating here again! I really hope this place, the lovely people that runs it, and the local community that sustains it, continues to care for this beautiful piece of Rome. I selfishly hope this restaurant never have the misfortune of becoming popular on Tiktok or other socials and turn into another soulless tourist trap. I hope it maintains it local charm, excellent food, and sense of community for several generations to come.

15/07/2025: The best food is usually at places that don't brag. We walked by this place 4 or 5 times before we knew it existed. Only two English menus is a sign of authenticity.

11/10/2025: Hidden place, if we weren't told about it we would missed it for sure. we had 4 different type of sauce, and everybody liked it. only downsize is you need to go back to eat at the Piazza, as there are no places to sit, but it's not a reason to skip the place !

15/09/2025: Saturday evening pizza. Very chaotic, but the atmosphere isn't bad (except for the person at the entrance who greets you, who's all scribbled up from head to toe, which doesn't make a great impression in a high-end restaurant, that doesn't happen downtown). We weren't satisfied with the food. We asked for two bruschettas, and they basically delivered pappa al pomodoro with soggy bread, not crispy toast. I pointed this out, and the only response was "sorry," when in reality they should have made it again. The menu says "supplì" are crispy and stringy. They were neither, soggy and the sauce was bland. The pizzas were average; honestly, I've had better; in fact, they were a bit heavy to digest. The price was too high. Now, I don't want to recommend or discourage them, as is usual. Personally, I won't go back. Be careful about saying something's wrong with the food; they're touchy. If you read carefully, I wrote that we could talk, not that his customers had to be quiet. My Italian comprehension is zero. Just so you know... They brought me in otherwise I would never have come and I'm happy not to return. I'll give you some advice too: if you always want to feel good, good, everything's good, since he only responds to negative comments, change your job because mistakes happen to everyone, and evenings don't either. I only told the truth about what I ate; if it bothers you, that's your problem. He could have just as easily said, "We'll try to improve." 16/09/2025: I'll keep it short: * Location is great if you want to explore Rome (bus and train tickets are available at reception) * Public beach directly across from the campsite with a small bar * On the campsite itself, there's a small restaurant (not tested) and a small supermarket where you can get everything you need * Sanitary facilities are okay, but too few (regular toilet, paper in the changing room, no soap or towels/hairdryer) * The area around the campsite itself isn't particularly nice; there's a lot of trash lying around everywhere * The campsite is located directly between two streets where vehicles regularly pass by, even at night * A major negative, however, are the rats on the site. 15/09/2025: We arrived late at night with a camper. The staff greeted us and kindly gave us a short tour of the campsite, quickly took care of the paperwork, and directed us to a parking spot. The location is fantastic, in a green area and close to the sea.

In the summer, the outdoor tables are full of mosquitoes, but that's the fault of the poorly maintained adjacent park. However, the owners do their best to mitigate this, with mosquito coils.

15/09/2025: Located in the heart of Prati, this restaurant is very conveniently located and easy to reach by metro. Recommended by my brother, I went to try their aperitivo called Apericalabro, which consists of a sea of ​​food, as only Calabrians obviously know how. I found everything to be truly delicious and authentic; it was like dining at home. The service is fast and attentive, and the prices are below average for the area. The young owner is truly kind and welcoming, which is not a given. I recommend everyone to try it, especially their bergamot spritz, which I found to be a real treat! Congratulations! 07/09/2025: The food is excellent and of high quality, but it's a shame, as a Calabrian, to pay 40 euros for a 750-liter bottle of water and 20 euros for two half-liters of house wine. It's not possible. Not only can I not recommend it, but we'll never come again. Unfortunately, today everything makes a difference, and I'm even more disappointed because we came here saying, "Let's try it, just to advertise." The place is beautiful, well-kept, and set up with quality items. The service is very slow and not very friendly. 09/10/2025: We went this evening after a long wandering around Rome. The incredibly friendly service and sublime food delighted us and made a great end to a day that had started badly. 5 stars are not enough, go and try it, it's worth it.
