A very nice and well-kept restaurant in Fregene. The host is very friendly and the food is really good. Excellent value.

Welcoming place, service could be improved. A word of advice: don't bring strollers... great for eating outside.

Our family had one of the best dining experiences of our entire trip to Italy at Il IV Cantone Ristorante De Chiara. Every dish was outstanding—beautifully prepared, full of authentic flavour, and made with such care that you can truly taste the passion behind the kitchen. The service was equally exceptional. The staff were friendly, warm, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel like part of the family from the moment we walked in. One of the highlights of our meal was watching our son enjoy his pasta so much that he ordered the exact same dish twice. It was that good — and honestly, we couldn’t blame him! It’s rare to find a place where the food, atmosphere, and hospitality come together so perfectly, but this restaurant absolutely delivered. We left completely happy, full, and already talking about coming back. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area — an unforgettable meal.

Very refined atmosphere and a very kind owner! Not intrusive! Very well-kept little place We ate fish: a spectacular shrimp tartare! And a delicious mussel sauté. A very tasty grilled dish. Highly recommended.

Christmas lunch... What can I say? A unique experience. Delicious food, impeccably prepared. I couldn't say what was better, everything was superb. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it.
