13/04/2025: I live in Rome and so far after many years this is the best pizza I have had. I will definitely bring my friends here in the future and come back myself. The prices are also reasonable, the service is nice and the food was prepared quickly. Highly Recommend this place!

30/04/2025: For those who don't read long reviews: don't waste your time here. The food is good, but not good enough to justify how bad the service is and the fact that they tack on a cute little service charge (only for tourists) that is not mentioned anywhere on their menu. We arrived 5min early for our reservation and were looked at, but pointedly ignored, by the waiter. Under busier circumstances, I would empathize, but this was a Tuesday. It wasn't that busy. So, after waiting for nearly 10mins to be seated, we are shown to the only unset table in the outdoor space. Neither my wife or I have ever felt so unwelcome at a restaurant in our lives. The waiter rolled his eyes when we didn't order alcoholic drinks, the food took nearly an hour - cachio e pepe should literally never take that long - and was rude enough that the table next to us leaned over to check in on how we were doing. Come to find out, they also tack on that fun service charge at the end, which, after a bit of googling, we learned that this is something they charge anyone they deem looks like a tourist. Ordinarily, I would have taken issue with it, but in the moment I looked at it as a 15% charge to have the privilege of never speaking to any of them again. I was also told by the waiter that that if I didn't want to wait to pay (another 15min of waiting while he doesnt do his job, hard pass). Having worked in the service industry myself in my teens and 20's, if I had ever treated customers the way I was treated this evening without the egregious missteps on their part, I would have been fired immediately. I don't expect us to be friends, chat, be treated like royalty, etc, just basic human respect. We weren't late, loud, drunk, rude, demanding - any of the many ways that tourists can make themselves unwelcome. There are loads of incredible restaurants where the waitstaff aren't pricks, the food is equally as good, it'll arrive in a timely fashion, and they won't scam you out of an additional 15%. Don't go here, you're doing yourself a disservice if you do.

29/04/2025: Located in Trastevere, Roma sparita offers a tasty traditional menu, excellent starters and home-made first courses, the only criticism is that the cacio e pepe is very good but very salty, but this is a personal taste... the waiter who served us was very nice.

03/05/2025: Entrati per stanchezza dopo la splendida visita del museo di Palazzo Massimo. Posto molto accogliente, buona scelta di snack salati e dolci. Terrazza al primo piano. La pizza e i tramezzini erano ottimi. I prezzi onesti e il personale molto gentile. Momento relax e cibo confort

24/02/2025: The Brancaccio Cafè is located in the historic center of Rome, Rione XVI (Ludovisi) in Via Merulana, 245. Upon entering the large room I had the opportunity to have a good breakfast, the staff was helpful and kind. As well as inside, there are also tables outside, excellent for a stop in the summer. CURIOSITY' The current Via Merulana was built in the 16th century. It is a long and important straight artery which had the task of connecting two of the four major Basilicas of the city, in fact it starts from Piazza Santa Maria Maggiore and arrives at San Giovanni in Laterano. 20/02/2025: Brancaccio Cafè was an unexpected find and a perfect start to the morning. We passed by on a weekday on our way to a nearby museum and decided to stop for breakfast. The service was fantastic—our waiter went out of his way to make sure I got my iced coffee exactly the way I like it, which I really appreciated. The breakfast was great, with fresh pastries and well-prepared dishes, and everything came out quickly. The staff was friendly and efficient, making the whole experience even better. I love when you pop into a place on a whim, and it turns out to be a great choice. Would absolutely stop by again!

30/03/2025: Hi, tonight I came to you for the first time. I had a supplì aglio e ojo that I had never tried in any other pizzeria and it was very good. Then 2 pieces of pizza with chicken salad that was delicate and very digestible. Friendly staff and cheap prices. I will definitely come back to visit you.

07/04/2025: To be honest, I confess that my experience at Lalla at lunch on Sunday was an "encore", certain of replicating the satisfaction with food and service from a year earlier. However it was a disappointment on all fronts. In addition to a room on the street level, Lalla has an underground room created in a small cave which probably served as a pantry for food and wine. In that small blind space, painted white to attenuate the sense of closedness, 4 tables are arranged, as well as at the edges of the stairs that lead down from the room. When booking we were advised that the only place available was in the "grottino" and we accepted the accommodation. What we didn't know, however, was that we would be FORGOTTEN, like the other customers who had the same fate of being accommodated in the cellar. Even if a place is full of customers, I find it unacceptable to wait 55 minutes to have an appetizer of cured meats served on a platter. I also find it unacceptable to wait a further 40 minutes to have the first course (an amatriciana and a plate of rigatoni with "an idea of" pajata), without anyone bothering to warn us of the wait or making it less burdensome with small precautions. Furthermore, it was not possible to get the attention of the dining room staff to point out the lack of pecorino on the dishes (expressly requested when ordering). If we needed more bread or water or more wine, we would have had to get up, go up the stairs and ask someone. I must say that this treatment is shameful for paying customers with reservations, and was also democratically reserved for the other unfortunates in the cave (which I think is more of a punishment for customers than a suggestive arrangement)! Ah... But the most exhilarating thing was when, when collecting the dishes, I was notified that the chicory I had ordered at 1.30pm, at 3.10pm (the time I finished the first course) was finished.... Too bad that when it rose to the surface, I noticed a nice plate of steaming chicory on the table of a couple who arrived at the restaurant long after us. In summary, two hours in a cave, without adequate service, to consume a plate of cured meats and two first courses which I honestly make better, the mockery of finding my chicory on another table and not even a discount on the total or the proposal of a glass of bitters offered by the house! Absolutely FAILURE!!! Lack of respect for customers who are evidently considered more numbers to cover than people to serve and please as they deserve.

26/03/2025: Very welcoming place, highly trained, very kind and friendly staff. The flavors of each dish were perfectly balanced and the ingredients incredibly fresh. I highly recommend the gnocchi, extraordinarily good 😋.. Congratulations 👍🏻

17/04/2025: Very nice place, with a varied and quality menu, which includes sandwiches, vegetables and treats as well as a vast choice of beers. Really welcoming atmosphere and staff, wanting to find fault with the outside being a little dark and the acoustics making the customers' shouting a little annoying. Nothing that can't be solved by asking the friendly staff for a table towards the sidewalk.

28/01/2025: In the center you can't miss a stop in this place, if you're cold they'll even give you a blanket😍. The pizza was divine, full of mozzarella and stretched a lot. Also very good cold cuts and cheeses, carefully made cocktails. Well done guys😎😍🤩

18/04/2025: Sono stata con una mia amica la sera per cena, siamo arrivate e abbiamo scelto il tavolo poiché non c’era ancora nessuno, noi abbiamo scelto cose abbastanza semplici in realtà però si vede che è un locale dove la cucina è fatta molto bene, in particolare mi sono piaciuti i ravioli di gamberi che tra tutti i ristoranti sono stati i più buoni e si vedeva/sentiva che erano fatti a mano. Unica pecca è che c’era solo una ragazza a servire e non era molto presente, però molto buono!

08/04/2025: Vedo questa gelateria sui social mi incuriosisce x le cose che ha mi faccio 12 km e trovo dei gusti di gelato semplici miei preferiti che non hanno un Cono piccolo 3 euro due piccole palline senza nemmeno la panna costi esagerati la ragazza che era nella gelateria poco accogliente e professionale sembrava fosse arrabbiata con il mondo non consiglio affatto questa gelateria ce ne sono di migliori

08/04/2025: Non ho assaggiato il gelato per merito di una commessa maleducata. Siamo entrati nella gelateria ed eravamo gli unici clienti, erano presenti tre commesse, che non ci hanno neanche guardato, una ha finito il suo turno, si sono salutate e le altre due sono rimaste a chiacchierare dietro al bancone, dopo qualche minuto mi affaccio al bancone chiedendo cosa dovessimo fare per avere dei gelati e la commessa in maniera molto scortese dice che prima dovevamo fare lo scontrino battendo la penna su un blocchetto che aveva in mano , peccato che alla cassa non c'era nessuno. Sono andata in un'altra gelateria!!!!!!
