03/06/2025: We took a gamble on this place while searching for somewhere else that we'd been given directions for and I'm so very glad we did. Greeted with a big warm smile, amazing food and the atmosphere was really nice too. We were in Rome for 4 days and came here on 3 of them, service is excellent and the staff are all friendly and kind. The lasagne and the pannacotta were the best I've ever had, actual heaven on a plate. I will be sad that we can't just pop in here whenever we want when we're back in England. Thank you all so much for helping to make our trip so special ❤️

10/06/2025: Sembrava un posto carino e invece sono poco professionisti. I piatti serviti male, con tempi di attessa assurdi, onestamente mi aspetavo di mangiare bene e invece sonó rimasto deluso. Lasciate perdere questo posto, non vale per niente la penaa!

31/05/2025: We had lunch for two in this family-run Osteria with excellent traditional Roman cuisine. We had a first course of pappardelle with hare sauce of exceptional goodness and strozzapreti artichokes and bacon with a more delicate flavor and scented with Roman mint, equally excellent. As a second course, the legendary coda alla vaccinara, very soft and tasty, and the boiled meatballs. The house red wine paired perfectly with the courses! A special mention for the artichoke to the jury, simply perfect! To conclude these superlative courses, we tasted the desserts: zuppa inglese with honors and tiramisu on the second podium of honor. The host Mr. Massimo, who followed and advised us for the entire choice of dishes, proved to be a very knowledgeable person and a careful connoisseur of the various specialties. We will definitely return and I recommend trying it, you will not be disappointed!

03/06/2025: Wow. Beautiful restaurant in a wine cellar from the 17th century. All the staff is extended family. The service is friendly and stellar. We had a sea bass dish that was out of this world. Can’t recommend this restaurant enough. Go! You will not be disappointed.

We dined here based on his recommendation, and it was hands-down one of the best meals we had during our trip to Rome. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff made us feel like old friends. They recommended we let the chef surprise us with their off-menu extravaganza, and we’re so glad we did! From start to finish, each course was a revelation: fresh seafood, handmade pastas, rich, flavorful sauces, and a perfectly paired selection of local wines. Every bite was a celebration of authentic Roman flavors elevated to something truly special. The attention to detail and passion for the craft are unmistakable, and you can tell this is a place where food is treated with love. 12/04/2025: Io, mia moglie ed il nostro cagnolino siamo capitati qui per caso e abbiamo trovato oltre ad un'ottima accoglienza per tutti e tre, dei piatti sublimi. Abbiamo mangiato osso buco, gnocchi fatti in casa e un tortino di mele che ci hanno stregato. Chiunque viene a Sora non puo non assaggiare la cucina delizioza di questo piccolo ristorante. Super consigliato!

21/05/2025: Great visit I would suggest going at 9 when it opens and paying on the door €5 as some sites where charging €15 also pre-booked tickets the queue was ridiculously long even though sites say fast track great atmosphere around the pantheon too people just sitting chilling taking in the sights there is a water fountain there right by the fountain where you can fill your drinking water bottle loads of cafes/restaurants to get something to eat

03/06/2025: I certainly don't want to speak ill of this trattoria. It was recommended by German friends, and I visited it for my birthday. On good days, the positive reviews might not be unjustified, but this was a rather bad day. Even though we had a reservation, we were first offered a very cramped table in a back room of the restaurant, and then a slightly better one. The service was having a very bad day and kept forgetting our drink orders. It took a very long time for the starters to arrive, which fell far short of expectations and were sometimes terribly unimaginatively presented. The main courses were OK, but nothing more. We wanted to take my daughter's half-eaten pizza with us, and we had even mentioned it, but in the end it was thrown away. I was a bit embarrassed, as my guests included local relatives who could certainly have recommended other restaurants.
