There is no rush for lunch here: it is the kind of restaurant where locals like to stop for a long, relaxed meal. The food is perfect, the service is kind and attentive, and the prices are really fair. But the real reason to come is the atmosphere: it is worth taking the time to enjoy a quiet lunch in a place like this.

19/05/2025: I know the historic city center quite well, so I often walked past without stopping. One Saturday night, when I was in Rome for the Jubilee, I decided to try the cacio e pepe, everything was fantastic, the atmosphere is typical Roman, and the staff is very polite. The only small flaw - but I'm boring - is the location, that if you dine at the tables outside, in Via Della Lungara a lot of cars and motorcycles pass, but all this does not depend on the choices of the restaurant.

27/04/2025: Highly recommended. At the Caffetteria Dami the good meets the beautiful. From the decorated plate to the freshness of the ingredients. Attention to detail that tastes like pampering. All very good. From sandwich to coffee. Compliments !

28/05/2025: Charming old-world hotel with spacious, quiet rooms and excellent service. The breakfast had good variety and room service was very quick. Special thanks to Simone and Alex for outstanding service. Pros: Quiet neighbourhood closer to Villa Borghese with excellent restaurants nearby, free minibar, convenient parking (€25, 5-min walk). Cons: WiFi was weak and slow, breakfast could use more fresh vegetables, not all rooms have handheld shower heads. Tip: Request one of the three terrace rooms on the top floor if available - perfect for relaxing with the outdoor space. Would stay again for the service and atmosphere!

Appetizer presented well but nothing that could be done better, average quality euro 13.00 judge for yourself from the photos. Second fried lake fish disappointing, lattarino not crispy seemed already cooked and reheated in oil to heat it, slices of lake pitch breaded with egg (NEVER seen) soft result, then tasteless to death, lake fish is not as tasty as sea fish, in short a terrible result 13.00. Wine 1/4 5.00 water 3.00 cover 2.00 total 35.00 with the discount otherwise the dishes cost more. Then I was alone and he charged me 2 covers.

So much attention to the requests of each customer, and, fundamentally, a non-noisy environment. Friendly owner and staff. The price is adequate for the quality of the food. A fixed point for the cuisine of the capital. Recommended, certainly, the knowledge of the place.

08/06/2025: Sono stata a cena per il mio compleanno in questo delizioso locale, nonostante il nostro arrivo molto oltre l’orario previsto siamo stati accolti con gentilezza e professionalità. I due ragazzi che ci hanno servito, Lucas e Marco, hanno contribuito alla riuscita della serata. Cibo ottimo, una menzione particolare al maialino in porchetta con lamponi e mela verde. However got to say that the food was not that tasty, we visited many better places during our time in Roma, and compared to the other restaurants, it is hard to understand how this place is so well rated. I would not visit the place again.

03/06/2025: Buonasera, un mio amico mi aveva parlato di alcuni piatti particolari, tra i quali le linguine al granceola, ma tra le varie foto non le avevo trovate coì siamo andati e ho richiesto esplicitamente questo piatto di cui allego la foto, e devo dire che sono rimasto positivamente sorpreso per la qualità del prodotto e l’originalità. Mi sono complimentato con il proprietario Sig. Ennio, molto simpatico e di buoni consigli; infatti, il mio pranzo è finito con una stupenda coratella con i carciofi. I miei amici hanno preso altre pietanze ma tutte molto curate e di qualità. Che dire sorpresa molto positiva giusto rapporto qualità prezzo, insomma ci tornerò presto per assaggiare gli altri piatti che ho visto passare. Bravi continuate così.

The quality and the price are more than honest The girl in the dining room is courteous... and the owner is always present without being too intrusive... Advise
