Sgarbatella In Roma

I go there often, the last time being less than a month ago. The scampi cream risotto is a must-try, but the linguine with scampi tartare, pistachios, and lime is also very good. Also worth trying are the appetizers, like the moscardelli (squid) and fried shrimp. They also do carbonara, but this isn't your typical Roman trattoria.

Exceptional? No. Superlative indeed. Truly an A+. I went there yesterday for the first time and it was all "Wow, this is delicious... try this one because it's unbeatable." Garbatella truly has a culinary gem hidden among the neighborhood's narrow streets. I want to publicly compliment all the wait staff for their professionalism and courtesy, but especially those in front of the stove, because they are true masters of the pan. The service, despite being fully booked, was quick and impeccable, and the final bill, despite ordering all fish, wasn't more than what you get at those tacky burger joints that offer sandwiches with supermarket junk for €18 each. I'll be back and won't miss an opportunity to recommend it. Really well done, keep it up.

A seafood restaurant, and much more, in the charming Garbatella neighborhood. Excellent variety of both fish and meat dishes; we ate fish and were particularly pleased. In addition to the menu, there are also some off-menu options.

A quiet and welcoming location, the staff are courteous and attentive to every detail, the menu is varied and delicious, made with superb ingredients, and the dishes are meticulously prepared with just the right amount of ingredients and generous amounts of seasoning. We'll be back soon to try the other dishes on the menu.

Excellent lunch, with fresh fish and truly generous and tasty dishes... friendly and helpful waiters and managers, and a truly pleasant atmosphere both inside and out. I highly recommend it for any occasion.

Excellent experience, both for the fresh food and the impeccable service. Simple, quiet atmosphere. An experience worth repeating, despite the difficulty in parking. You have to plan your hours so you have time to find a parking spot. 🙂

A truly welcoming place, delicious food, fresh, well-cooked fish. The staff were friendly, generous portions, and reasonable prices. We had dinner for six of us, spending €30 per person. I highly recommend it!

Excellent food, Gabriele the waiter was very kind in serving us. We tried the gnocchetti alla pescatora, which I highly recommend; it was excellent. For the main course, a perfectly savory entrecote, sautéed chicory, and Roman-style artichoke.

Truly excellent!!!! The fish was above average for the area. Superb quality and impeccable service.

Ended up going to this place by happenstance and the food was just delicious and fairly priced. The staff was friendly and informative. Loved it and would definitely go back!
