We stopped in for a coffee not really having any idea what we were ordering with our gelato, but we are so excited when we tried caffe del maestro! We are staying down the road and have gotten two a day so far on our trip. Not totally sure what it is but it’s espresso with a thick sweet cream and the bitter and sweet taste mixed together is perfection. Gelato and the service is great too!

The service was excellent, the coffee was great, and I highly recommend it. When you're in the city center, I recommend stopping by this Sicilian bar; the service from barista Zarai is very good.

22/05/2026: In our top 3 favorite places in Rome. Hard to stay away from the bucatini all'amatriciana (cooked to a perfect al dente) but all dishes are excellent. Service is helpful and energetic. Mix of locals and tourists.
21/05/2026: The place is very nice and welcoming, the food was good ( especially the pasta) the portions are small and the price is relatively expensive we paid around $70 a person
