31/01/2025: Staff gentilissimo, cibo strepitoso, esperienza eccellente. Piatti sia tipici che Italiana in generale. Se ritorneremo a Siena sicuramente ci riandremo!

25/11/2024: Leggendo le varie recensioni mi ero fatto una ottima idea...ma poi provando sono rimasto un po deluso....ho preso il polpo croccante su letto di humus e quello era buono...poi la griglia di pesce e questa sia come quantità che come sapore non mi ha entusiasmato.Per il dolce c era poca scelta solo tre tipi ,ho preso cantuccini con vinsanto,non erano i classici duri con la mandorla , ma morbini con le nocciole,così cosi! Servizio veloce prezzi nella media...

15/03/2025: A pleasant discovery in the center of Asciano, a pleasant medieval village in the Crete Senesi. Quiet, village environment, where you can enjoy good traditional dishes at honest prices. Recommended by friends in the country, we confirm and recommend the restaurant.

06/04/2025: Abbiamo fatto un ora di viaggio per andare, abbiamo prenotato un giorno prima arriviamo al ristorante non accettano perché ho una bambina con me !! Prometto che sono stata l’anno scorso con i bambini nessun problema invece quest’anno secondo un ragazzo che lavorava la erano cambiate le regole. Per di più ho visto turisti con i bambini nella struttura! Una vergogna era domenica ci hanno fatto perdere la giornata visto che non si prenotare al ultimo minuto. Il ragazzo maleducato scortese. 07/02/2025: I had breakfast there and ate pizza there in the evening. It has a magnificent view of the Montalcino valley, otherwise the place is unfortunately a bit anonymous, but its true value lies in being a meeting point for the people of the town, the real ones. Croissants are normal, but this is an aspect that it has in common with other bars in the town, the pizza is very good. Courteous service, good quality/price ratio.

12/09/2024: We got this place recommended by our local Italian restaurant Vecchio Convento in Odder Denmark. The place is stunningly beautiful situated on a hilltop and the food is worth the drive. It is absolutely the best meal we had on our holiday in Italy, better than the Michelin restaurant we also visited. Can definitely be recommended.

11/03/2025: I would like to make a premise, I am a manager in the hotel sector and I was out with a long-experienced chef friend. Galeotto" was the GPS that went offline and took us to Brenna instead of Orgia, small villages bordering each other. So we came across this place which, even when closed, with its wooden door, cotton curtains on the windows and a blackboard as a sign, left us with the desire to return. In fact, after a few minutes you decide to try it. Upon entering, you immediately perceive cleanliness and an amalgam of colors that convey a pleasant sensation of well-being. We are welcomed with a beautiful smile by Federica who we later learn is the owner. And also Chef Mauro, her husband. Both passionate about their work, with the "mission" of emphasizing the traditions of the territory with a personal touch of revisitation. Both regarding the culinary proposals and the selection of products... there is refinement, nothing seems left to chance. Federica also collaborates in the kitchen, especially in the pastry shop... how delicious! To give a complete choice, they have also organized a pizza proposal, naturally with a wood-fired oven and a "titled" master pizza chef. For me it has spontaneously become a reference in the area..... highly recommended!!

11/03/2025: Vorrei fare una premessa, sono un manager nel settore alberghiero ed ero in giro con un'amico chef di lunga esperienza. Galeotto" fu il GPS che finito offline ci ha portato a Brenna anziché ad Orgia, piccoli borghi confinanti uno con l'altro. Così siamo capitati in questo locale che anche da chiuso, col portone in legno, le tendine di cotone alle finestre ed una lavagna come insegna ci ha lasciato il desiderio di tornare. Infatti dopo alcuni si decide di provarlo. Già all'entrata si percepisce da subito pulizia ed un'amalgama di colori che trasmettono una piacevole sensazione di benessere. Veniamo accolti con un bel sorriso da Federica che conosceremo poi essere la proprietaria. Ed anche lo Chef Mauro, suo Marito. Ambedue appassionati del loro lavoro, con la "mission" di enfatizzare le tradizioni del territorio con un tocco personale di rivisitazione. Sia riguardo le proposte culinarie che la selezione dei prodotti....si riscontra ricercatezza, nulla sembra lasciato alla casualità. Anche Federica collabora in cucina soprattutto nella pasticceria...che bontà! Per dare una scelta completa, hanno anche organizzato una proposta pizza, naturalmente con forno a legna ed un "titolato" maestro pizzaiolo. Per me è spontaneamente diventato un riferimento di zona..... consigliatissimo!!

05/04/2025: The restaurant was originally a stable for oxen, the mangers are visible. For the rest of the grilled meat, it's top notch, especially the non-Florentine but normal steak. Also worth trying is the pizza. Less valuable on appetizers, especially pickled Tropea onions. Must try.
