23/01/2026: Very welcoming tavern, super polite and kind staff, truly delicious dishes!

08/12/2025: The meat is the highlight, and the "cinghianella" is also excellent: a special appetizer worth trying. The warm atmosphere is complemented by 360° windows. There's a reserved parking lot a few steps away and a few spaces near the entrance for those with mobility issues.

26/10/2025: On our visit to Chiusi, which was our final stop for this visit to Tuscany, including a visit to the museums, which were all very interesting, we ate at this Osteria, which was simply brilliant! The food, the friendly service in a restaurant run by women, was fantastic, so brilliant that we went back today, Sunday, and will return tomorrow, Monday. We're delighted to have discovered this place! Congratulations for being so generous!

21/01/2026: The place is really nice...we had GREAT food, with battuta and then pici with old-fashioned sauce, if I remember correctly that was the name. The staff was excellent, the waiter taking orders was really good, "a raise is recommended."

02/01/2026: A delightful and unique inn, slightly off the main drag. The pizza is excellent, as are the appetizers, ribollita, and chicken cacciatore. Definitely worth a try.

30/12/2025: This restaurant is located in Piazza Sant'Agostino, slightly outside the busier center. You can eat outside in the sun on a nice day. The first courses are excellent, especially tagliatelle with ragu and pappardelle with wild boar. The tiramisu is also fantastic, and my kids loved it. Highly recommended!

06/12/2025: First affordable place I've found upon entering Montepulciano, and honestly, it lives up to its hype. The first courses are plentiful and succulent. I haven't tried the appetizers or main courses, but I imagine they're on the same wavelength. The glass of wine is a bit pricey. Overall, it's good, although one room is a bit small.

05/01/2026: GOOD MORNING We had a really WONDERFUL New Year's Eve dinner!!!! The food was excellent, the service was attentive, and the timing was perfect so we could then go out and stroll before celebrating midnight. The price was RIGHT!!!! We'll definitely be back. 04/01/2026: ...we were with a group of camper friends... 30 people for New Year's Eve!! What can I say... the food was excellent, the service was perfect, and the location was very nice, very close to the main square!! We had a great time, and they even set aside a room just for us!! Everything was delicious... the tagliatelle with duck ragù and the tagliata were sublime... and the chocolate salami was top notch!! Thank you so much!!

23/09/2025: Absolutely a two-Michelin-star dinner. Heinz Beck's sous chef is the chef. The dishes are exceptional, ecstatic. An incredible experience.

18/08/2025: What can I say... A special location, a village on the border between Tuscany and Umbria and Lazio, and the chef was on top of his game like never before in showcasing the local ingredients. The tasting was nothing short of exceptional. Each dish had something unique to offer, even the smallest bite. I would have said it was impossible to rank in order of goodness, because the extremely high quality of the suckling pig, the sea bass, and the scampi were all on par. But alas, all the courses had to capitulate in the face of the foie gras, an absolute masterpiece, an explosion of flavors, textures, and even temperatures, sublime, enhanced by the stellar pairing of the white wine we were offered... When you leave, the only thought is what the autumn menu will be like. Many thanks to the chef, the sommelier, and the entire team, young but truly knowledgeable, unobtrusive yet always present...

15/02/2026: A beautiful hotel with an antique feel. I really liked the combination of stone walls in the bathroom and the room decor. The entrance is very beautiful with soft lighting. The staff is excellent.

19/01/2026: A must-see whenever passing through the Il Giglio area. A historic hotel, centrally located, with a family atmosphere and a breathtaking view of the Crete Senesi. But anyone who thinks Il Giglio is "merely" a historical landmark or a splendid terrace overlooking the Val d'Orcia is mistaken. In the heart of Montalcino, this place reveals itself to be a restaurant serving traditional cuisine and a wine cellar that truly immerses you in the heart of Brunello. It's by browsing the wine list that you understand Il Giglio's true stature. It's not just a list, it's a historical archive. The cellar boasts an impressive verticality, from current vintages to collectors' items that have shaped the history of Brunello, offering a panorama that very few other establishments can match.

20/02/2026: Homemade food, very well prepared, delicious pasta with truffle, nothing fancy or extravagant. For starters, we also had a cream of onion soup (a rich and interesting dish), followed by a delicious meat pie. The prices are moderate given the quality and preparation (3 courses, water, coffee, and cover charge for €60), and the quality is certainly high.

03/01/2026: A very unique place, but overcrowded. A mix of confusing and unclear styles. Perhaps it started out as a repair shop, otherwise I can't quite make sense of the connection between the restaurant and the machines in the dining room. There's limited seating. There's a small outdoor parking lot. We hadn't booked, so after waiting a few minutes for a table, we left. The waiters weren't very friendly and left us there with a curt "wait to see if there's room." We looked at the menu and found it expensive, like all the other places in the area.

27/02/2026: After a stop at the Bagni di San Filippo with my family (there were four of us), we relied partly on chance and partly on reviews and chose Parallelo for lunch. The atmosphere was simple, the service attentive and friendly. Everything was truly delicious! The onion corton was amazing: we asked for seconds.

01/01/2026: A pleasant return to a historic restaurant for those like me who live near the Val d'Orcia. The restaurant's name, "Parallel," comes from the fact that right where it is located, we can see the sign for the imaginary line of the 43rd parallel. We had a quick and simple meal; we were just passing through. As an appetizer, a lovely crouton with porcini mushrooms and pecorino cheese was delicious, followed by two gnocchi with ragù. Everything was cooked the old-school way, it couldn't have been otherwise. Nothing has changed from the past; it's a long-standing fixture, and we're happy with it. The coffee was really good, and as the owner says, the powders make the difference. Amaro was offered! We really enjoyed it. See you next time.

24/02/2026: A wonderful surprise in Radda in Chianti. La Bottega di Giovannino is a true Tuscan shop, welcoming and authentic. We were welcomed with great warmth and attention (one of the owners even speaks Portuguese!). The tagliatelle al ragù was the best we've had in Italy: fresh, flavorful, and perfectly executed pasta with a rich, well-balanced ragù. The bruschetta with pecorino cheese was also excellent. Thanks to their advice, we chose an excellent Chianti Classico Riserva. Highly recommended for anyone passing through Radda!
