29/10/2025: The farmhouse is located in a very relaxing spot. The access road is a bit bumpy, perhaps due to recent rains. The apartment is spacious, warm, comfortable, and fully equipped: two TVs, a pellet stove, air conditioning, and a large kitchen. The staff was very kind, accommodating my breakfast needs. The breakfast was good. I recommend it for a relaxing holiday in nature, also taking advantage of their lovely restaurant.

04/01/2026: Stop for lunch at this super little place! Delicious schiacciata, nice and crispy, hot, and made with excellent ingredients. The waiters were super fast, knowledgeable, kind, and smiling! We were able to eat inside, but if you prefer, you can easily eat while strolling through the central streets of San Gimignano. The restaurant overlooks the main square.

29/01/2026: We had four simple hot chocolates, good, the person at the counter was kind and helpful, when we arrived we had initially taken a seat at a rather narrow table in a corner, which was probably suitable for two people and instead we were four, since the next table for four people had two chairs with jackets placed on them, he came and moved the jackets that were occupying the space, and made us sit there, it was a thoughtfulness that we appreciated.

02/01/2026: We stayed at this hotel from December 29, 2025 to the 31st. I have only positive things to say about both the extremely kind staff and the owners. As for the restaurant, it was absolutely excellent: the chef was excellent, the waiters were excellent (a special thanks to Andrea, who was very professional and kind). They make you feel at home. As for the rooms, the hotel is a little dated but clean and warm (a piece of advice: at least replace the light switches with signal ones or install motion sensors in the hallways). Otherwise, everything was fine; we'll definitely be back.

15/02/2026: Mixed reviews for what was a dinner we were very much looking forward too. Firstly I will say the wine menu is extensive and there is plenty of quality Italian wines to choose from. Soft drink selection is very limited. The food was okay. Perhaps our choice of meal didn’t reflect the real capability of the chefs and authentic Italian culture. A pasta dish and a wild boar stew in rainy Tuscan weather. It was good, not excellent and I felt perhaps fairly punchy on the pocket. The service was okay, prompt service but we were welcomed by one waiter, served by another and then served by another. No salt, pepper or olive oil to accompany our bread or food which i felt was strange… Perhaps we should try again but we will try other local restaurants nearby during our short stay. I do feel that we could find better value for our Euro ! Thank you for having us !!!

Don't you dare compliment the chef alone, he's unique, let's be clear! The Signora's service is as distinctive and intense as the delicious meal she delivers with her unique grace. The dynamic between the two is reminiscent of the hilarious Vianello couple. By the way, don't bother trying to make reservations—"We don't take reservations here," replies the Signora—and don't bother trying to find out when you can come back for dinner—"How would I know?! And what am I supposed to do, get the gentlemen eating to stand up and make room for you." Wonderful. For those who don't understand the Lazio humor, she's extremely kind and always available to her customers. Atmosphere. As the name suggests, it's a small delicatessen. Very welcoming and tastefully decorated to feel like a little cottage. And that's how you feel, at home. In short, the best lunch I've had in 2025.

22/12/2025: Amazing tagliere, polenta & gnocchi. The restaurant is small but cosy. The owners are really kind & hard working. Recommend to come here if you really want to enjoy good food.

19/12/2025: Perhaps the best hidden jem in Siena. We wanted some seafood and trust me, this is the place for seafood! Just 3-5 minutes from the main square, this place surprises with its creativity (pumpkin pie with mushrooms as an antipasto) and knocks you out with it's delicious seafood! Great service as well and English is spoken. One of the best in Siena!
