16/08/2025: We stopped here by chance and were greeted with a smile. Very friendly and cheerful. Very quaint place. We had an appetizer of cured meats and cheeses, which were neither good nor bad. Then we had pici alla cacio e pepe.... Industrial-style pici, undercooked, a real shame because the cacio e pepe sauce was pretty good overall.

23/08/2025: Spectacular place, quality food, although very expensive for what it is. The waiter let us in at 9 p.m., saying there was plenty of time, but from the moment we sat down, we felt the pressure with up to three waiters standing next to our table. It's incredibly uncomfortable to eat with family like this. I would have preferred if he'd told me he couldn't dine, and I'd have to figure it out.

18/08/2025: INCREDIBLE. I never take the time to give a review but I had to! This restaurant deserves all the stars. Very reactive / caring staff, we felt like we stepped into a very high end restaurant. We took the porterhouse beef and their own Chianti Classico wine and were delighted. The meat was wonderful (I’ve been in Tuscany +5 times and this was up to my expectations). To summarize : an amazing place for : the view (sunset was great), the service, the local food and wine. Hope you give them a chance if you’re around!! If I can give a piece of advice for the staff : relax, you’re doing great!!

04/08/2025: Delicious food. Unfortunately, I find myself having to give it two stars for a significant reason: the Fiorentina steak, which was listed on the set menu at €40 per kg, was charged €60 at checkout. I asked why this was the case (a full €20 more) and was told that the steak weighed 1.5 kg, rather than 1 kg. I strongly recommend indicating the weight beforehand, as people expect to get and pay for exactly what they see on the menu. For example, in our case, we would have liked 1 kg, which would have been plenty.

04/08/2025: A restaurant just the way I like them: good, hearty, family-friendly, 'no fuss' and inexpensive. Frequented by regulars. Far from the tourist traps! Excellent pasta and meat dishes. Very good value for money.

04/09/2025: Good restaurant with friendly staff, good service and good selection of wines. We had no reservation but there was enough place to get a table. Food came on nicely prepared dishes that showed the love for food preparation.

30/08/2025: We were staying at the hotel on Sunday and decided to try the restaurant; I regret it because after exploring the surrounding area, we couldn't find the same quality. Everything about this restaurant was perfect: the food was excellent, from starters to dessert (the cheesecake was unforgettable), the location was very welcoming, and the staff were professional! If you're visiting Siena on the weekend, don't waste your time looking for somewhere else to eat.

30/07/2025: I was here for a friend's wedding and was delighted with the quantity and quality of the food. It's a beautiful, romantic place, even for kids, thanks to the garden with a trampoline. Very satisfied. I would definitely return. A beautiful location in Chianti, breathtaking views, and very friendly service.

19/08/2025: Rustic atmosphere with a lovely terrace overlooking Montepulciano. The Fassona beef tartare and gnudi are excellent, and the pinsa are uniquely paired with unique ingredients. Adequate portions and reasonable prices.

16/08/2025: Great restaurant for an intimate moment. Quiet, with traditional Tuscan cuisine and good wines. The old-fashioned one is also extraordinary. The service is very friendly. Great restaurant.

17/08/2025: My partner and I stayed from August 11 to August 16. We had a wonderful time, everything was perfect, from the room to the staff, and especially the hospitality of the owner, Sara, and her family. The hotel's location is also convenient for easily traveling to visit the most important towns in the Tuscan hinterland. The cuisine is excellent, with typical Tuscan dishes expertly prepared. We will definitely return and recommend it.

09/09/2025: La Valserena is a lovely restaurant set on a little hill, giving it a charming atmosphere. The food is excellent with authentic dishes that taste homemade, and the service is professional and welcoming. Parking is easy and free. Prices are fair for the quality you get, making this a great spot for both locals and visitors.

01/07/2025: A very nice little pizzeria with a huge selection of fantastic pizzas! Excellent service. Unfortunately, we only discovered it on the last day of our vacation. The menu is also in German, and the service speaks excellent German! If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely come back!

21/08/2025: Even though we hadn't booked, they were very helpful and seated us immediately. The food was very well prepared, excellent, and beautifully presented! Only at the end of the meal did we discover that many celebrities who pass through San Quirico stop there, and now I can understand why! A beautiful, welcoming, and secluded little spot! Lunch or dinner there is a must if you're passing through!

20/08/2025: Spending a few days in Val d'Orcia, one of the things I really wanted to do was have a Tuscan dinner, and I can only say I found the perfect place. The dishes were truly delicious: the duck pici were as good as the ribollita. The Florentine steak was exquisite and perfectly cooked. The tiramisu cream made me want to eat more and more. The service was truly friendly and kind, as well as very attentive. I would return to this area even just to try the other dishes on the menu.

29/05/2025: Ormai da un po’ di tempo avevo deciso di non recensire più , ma in questo caso lo faccio volentieri perché semplicemente mi sono trovato bene ! Proprietari ( una famiglia) molto gentili, cordiali , ma che un po’ ti fanno sentire a casa ! Sì direi atmosfera di casa ! Cibo molto buono e di qualità ! Locale ben curato pulito e molto carino ! A Poggibonsi non si può non fermarsi per una cena o un pranzo ! Merita assolutamente a mio giudizio !!!
