04/09/2024: We received a recommendation for dinner and were happy and satisfied. In this tavern next to the Church of Cristo Re, where a table was set for us, we ordered a substantial appetizer for two, Andria Martina Spilinga, based on smoked burrata from Andria, capocollo from Martina Franca and bruschetta bread from Spilinga. Two first courses, troccoli cacio e pepe with purple prawn tartare, and paccheri del sacristano, based on dried tomato cream, stracciatella with crunchy fans of Norcia bacon. The taste of the stracciatella mixed with the other ingredients made the dish tasty and positively dampened the first perception of having to deal with a dish that was too tasty. An artisanal lemon sorbet. The service was prompt and fast, the wait was limited, the bill was normal, due to the location of the restaurant and the quality of the dishes

28/08/2024: Good food in a hotel! Gladly again!

10/07/2024: We were staying at the hotel where the restaurant is located and we ate there 3 nights. The food was excellent and varied. Very good wine and great service. Everything we had tasted good I especially loved the chicken dish and the appetizer of different veggies. We ate wot a couple we met at the hotel and they loved their food as well.

24/08/2024: We were there last night just for dinner. Very very nice, elegant and modern place with open kitchen. The atmosphere was really elegant and not chaotic. The waiters tried to take care of everything in detail, even if every now and then something escaped their attention We ate everything based on fish and I must say that it was all really delicious, I particularly appreciated: Seafood delicatessen Linguine with monkfish (truly exceptional) We will definitely return

02/09/2024: Very kind staff, competent owner and room staff ready to give you support. Obviously I can't rate everything but only what I ordered, peppered mussels made very well, the quality of the mussels not at the top, good frittini, linguine with sea urchins good apart from the drizzle of balsamic vinegar on the plate which in my opinion isn't there nothing came in. Small venial sins. I'll be back to try something else.

01/09/2024: Never seen something like this 🤩🤩🤩 For someone like me who eats and drinks, Oltre Gusto is the ideal place. Ate excellently and drank excessively (on the advice of Angelo) paid (in my opinion) less than what I expected! Number 1. Try it to believe it🤩🤩

08/08/2024: Good raw materials and well developed. Simple and good dishes. Courteous and non-intrusive staff, Daniele was an excellent host, kind and calm. Quiet and informal place. I recommend it for those who want to eat well and abundantly without spending too much on anything.

05/08/2024: We ordered two fried calamari to take away. The staff were very kind and all the guys were thoughtful and friendly. The service was very fast because the trays were delivered to us within 10 minutes. Excellent calamari!!! The only flaw...on the menu the cost is €9 (fair price) but we were asked for €25...that's €7 more...and takeaway which perhaps should cost less since there is no service. Either the menu is wrong on the site or it's the usual game you play with tourists... thank goodness the Resto was all positive.

28/08/2024: Cibo ottimo e di qualità. Abbondante Cameriera e padrone super gentili. Unico consiglio se posso, nell’antipasto salumi e formaggi punterei di più su alimenti locali piuttosto che su alimenti come bresaola o gorgonzola… Consiglio di ordinare il polpo fritto su purea di fave…..meraviglioso!!! E ugualmente le orecchiette alle cime di rape

03/08/2024: Magnificent place, both in terms of location and hospitality. We had dinner at the end of July and it was a magical evening, eating well, especially the starters and the mixed grill, while the children, as well as eating well, also had fun in the immense garden. The best moment was when the pears were taken from one of their trees and brought directly to the table. Highly recommended

06/08/2024: Siamo stati in famiglia per la prima volta 2 anni fa ed essendo rimasti molto contenti di ogni particolare siamo tornati con degli amici. La qualità è sempre ottima, i ragazzi del personale gentili, simpatici e attenti al cliente; c’è una buona scelta tra le opzioni per le diverse portate e soprattutto moltissime pietanze locali… Prezzo onestissimo, assolutamente consigliato!

25/08/2024: Ordinata birra e panino. Birra piccola arrivata subito e panino dopo 50 minuti(freddo tra l'altro). La birra era diventata calda e non più bevibile(lasciata perché non aveva più sapore).È stato detto che la prossima volta avrebbero portato del ghiaccio(ironicamente). Mi sarei aspettato comprensione e diaologo.Può accadere ed è accaduto.

21/08/2024: Ideal pub for spending a quiet evening in company. Good for dinner or after dinner, because you can also just order a drink with an accompanying aperitif.

08/08/2024: Sad, very sad to see that one of Lecce's historic pubs has become a nightmare. Ordered a salad at 9pm. It still had to arrive at 11pm. Cardboard bread from two days ago, cockroaches walking over and under you. Dear traders, stay less on Facebook making controversies and instead think about how you are falling further and further down in the service you offer.

24/07/2024: I went with my girlfriend and we ordered a chip, she a chicken sandwich, I a burger plate... her sandwich was inedible, it looked like cardboard from the cheap €2 cutlet... bread with no flavor and without that enthusiasm that a sandwich gives you which should be nice and greasy... but my burgers that were cooked medium (they were beef) arrived well cooked and even toasted with a side of "chewed" salad. We were really disappointed and we're sorry because yesterday we really wanted to "hurt ourselves" as they say when you go with the belief that you're eating well... but we only hurt our wallet. I'm sorry for the staff but there it needs to be improved.

14/08/2024: Really good food, excellent pizza with Neapolitan dough... delicious potato croquettes with mint inside... not the classic frozen croquettes, these are handmade! The fried "tarallo" with burrata and raw ham is excellent and finally the Cesaer Salad with the cutlet is mouth-watering delicious! Since we are on holiday in the area we will definitely be back! Very nice place and very kind staff! Advised

Perfect cuisine, served impeccably Dishes that contain the true scent of the sea...impeccable and refined staff, always ready to fulfill every request And then what about the owner? Very nice and friendly person...always making sure that everything was in order and that customers were satisfied In short, you must definitely come here if you want excellence!

01/08/2024: We have been choosing this location for our events for over 20 years. The professionalism and attention to detail has always exceeded our expectations. Wide choice from the extraordinary menu and also the room according to the season or your needs. For our latest event we chose the hall Botticelli leaving all the rest of the organization for the event in the hands of Mrs. Anna who, as always, managed to make a daydream come true. The unique kindness of the staff and their thoughtfulness made our events unique.

28/07/2024: I'm sorry to say but we didn't get along well at all. Ms. Anna was neither professional nor correct. When signing a contract of around €3000 for my son's 18th birthday party on July 22nd, he did not inform us that in the room we had chosen, i.e. the one with the windows, there were no air conditioners but coolers (as he called her) which were of no use at all. Absurd in 2024 to spend an evening waving fans, seeing all the guests come out to breathe. People over 80 years old, my relatives, sitting outside because it wasn't comfortable inside due to the heat. A mess. We weren't able to enjoy the party, the beautiful moments that should remain imprinted in our minds for a lifetime, but we will only remember the excitement, the rush to finally get away from that nightmare. What a disappointment, which will only be ours, after having paid dearly for a service not enjoyed. I am so sorry for the staff who suffered the heat with us and for the chef who was not appreciated after cooking, as much of the food was not consumed due to the heat and remained on the buffet tables. Remember if you go to sign a summer contract that the room with the windows does not have air conditioning. How disgusting to grab the amount we weren't informed!

04/08/2024: very nice location with traditional Salento dishes. The mixed house starter was excellent, very rich indeed. the fried foods and the tripe with potatoes are excellent! super the "devil's balls" (horse meatballs with spicy sauce).
