30/04/2026: I was truly impressed by the selection and quality of the cuts of meat: I was able to try several, all truly excellent. The option of grilling was also greatly appreciated. The appetizer selection was a little less impressive, but still good. The only flaw I'd like to point out is the service, which had several errors and omissions. The atmosphere was very pleasant, with outdoor seating. I'll definitely be back and recommend it.

29/03/2026: NEGATIVE experience. The appetizer cost €19.00, we ordered two for 4 people, and they were paltry, actually less than paltry. Never again. You go to satisfy your taste buds, not your eyes. The Chianina beef was good. I repeat, never again.

04/05/2026: Excellent restaurant. Thanks to our Airbnb host (Terecate Expérimental Relais) for the recommendation. The dishes are delicious (special mention for the pistachio pesto pasta) and the tiramisu for dessert is very good. The waitress is very friendly and speaks excellent English.

02/05/2026: The food... to be avoided... expensive, from the fridge, unpleasant to say, but almost stale and reheated. The dishes, however, are well-served, compliments to the service, very polite and respectful, but the rest... we had an appetizer for two for €33.00... left because it wasn't good, and a first course each for €20.00, left because it wasn't good, plus water. The rest is up to you...

07/01/2026: Discovered through word of mouth from friends, it's a delicious restaurant! We had the set menu for €35, which included cover charge, drinks, and dessert, and I must say it's a fair price considering the generous portions and the number of dishes (four main courses per person, a mix of meat and fish, served in generously sized central plates). The staff was so kind that they immediately provided takeout containers for us to take home the leftovers. I was truly satisfied with the flavor of the dishes and the warm and welcoming dining room with its star-shaped vaulted ceilings. I would gladly return!

04/01/2026: We went here to celebrate a birthday on New Year's Eve. The service was excellent, the staff were kind and helpful, especially the waiter, who was at our service all evening. The food was delicious and, above all, plentiful, and when it came time to get the bill, the cost was truly minimal, considering how much we consumed. The place was also very beautiful and welcoming, we will definitely be back.

02/05/2026: Go there if you want to deal with extremely rude people. The place is run by a mother and daughter who are the epitome of rudeness. To be fair, I have to say the food is good and the location is nice.

27/04/2026: Beautiful place, excellent food, and good service. The raw appetizers are very good, as are the cooked appetizers. The first and second courses are delicious, with delicate fried food. There's a lovely terrace if you want to eat outside.

25/03/2026: Red Moon is one of those places you always want to return to. A family-run establishment with a welcoming atmosphere, the staff is exceptionally kind, helpful, and always smiling, which really makes the difference. The quality of the food is excellent, and you can see the care with which each dish is prepared. Despite the reasonable prices, the professionalism and attention to detail remain high. Here, you can eat well without spending too much, something increasingly rare. Everything is delicious, from the pizza to the horse meat, from the durums to the salad (yes, even the salad is delicious). They make their own craft beers, which are truly delicious and worth trying! A simple yet authentic place, where you eat well and feel right at home.

04/05/2026: Every time we go, we're always happy to return....excellent food....the employees are very kind and attentive to customer needs....the pizzas have improved; they were already good, now they're delicious....they're crispier but softer, even with a super-crunchy edge...I highly recommend it....

23/12/2025: My boyfriend and I went to this little restaurant in September. Fantastic place! We spent a bit because we didn't want for anything, but the quality of the food and wine was worth every penny. The fish was incredibly fresh, and they recommended the right wine to pair with the dishes. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable. Excellent customer service! High quality, definitely recommended.

26/02/2026: Everything was very good. A wonderful little place, a renovated old trattoria. We opted for an appetizer of sweet and sour pickled vegetables and mixed grilled meats. A typical house dessert with custard. Highly recommended. We'll return when we're in the area. Average price.

22/02/2026: A historic and typical Salento restaurant, where you can rediscover traditional flavors, with traditional appetizers (pittule) accompanied by fantastic pickled vegetables. We tried the "Pezzetti di Cavallo" (Horse Pieces), which were definitely delicious and tender. I didn't particularly like the plating, nor the piece itself. It almost tasted like "pasticciato" (stuffed meat). To me, the piece is more like a stew served in a bowl... but they were definitely good. The best thing we ate was this dish called Papalina... I absolutely recommend it; I loved it, even though I'm not a fan of vegetables, let alone cooked ones. The only downside was the chocolate salami. They were slices of salami so frozen they couldn't even be eaten with a fork, and they were overly sweet... I didn't like it.

08/05/2026: The service was arrogant, I can't believe I'm in Italy! They mixed up the bill with that of another table without asking or checking, and gave it to the other table with the same amount of money. A real disgrace.

03/05/2026: We went for three days because it was nice and my husband is allergic to gluten, so we asked for gluten-free options. On the last day, he was very sick, so I can't post the incredible photo. We asked for gluten-free options again, and when I returned, the restaurant was already closed. It's going to be a long night.

29/03/2026: Extremely overpriced and underwhelming. Staff is cold, not very smiley or conversational. The food in all honesty is very boring and simple, not amazing flavours if im being honest. The plates are all chipped and disgusting looking and I even had dirty cups and cutlery. Not worth it at all. Go to grotta del conte, its 10 mins away and way better.
