04/05/2026: I went there for lunch for the first time with friends and family on Sunday, May 3, 2026. We were welcomed into a welcoming atmosphere and immediately felt at home. When the dishes arrived, we were delighted: I had seafood linguine, fried fish, and almond cake. I would recommend everything because everything was so fresh (for example, the fried shrimp peeled easily) and the portions were generous. What can I say: we'll be back! Highly recommended.

03/05/2026: A unique, simple, and peaceful spot away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The restaurant is located inside an old building with high ceilings. It stands very close to a former tobacco factory, closed at the end of Mussolini's reign: the village was created because of (or thanks to) this factory. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The menu, translated into French, is available online, and the dishes are photographed. Note that the lemon sorbet is not actually a sorbet but a lemon cream. We were lucky enough to try (and thoroughly enjoyed) a homemade local digestif made with wild fennel. We highly recommend this place!

04/07/2026: Fantastic place. We had dinner in the alley next to the butcher shop last night. First of all, thank you and compliments to all the staff, especially the young people, who were incredibly kind, polite, and helpful. We had fried food (Ciccio Fritto) and a pasta, potato, and provola frittatina, and they were fantastic. As for the frittatina, I have to say I've never had such a good one with potatoes and provola, not even in Naples, with mixed pasta and mashed potatoes on top—a true delight. Next up was burrata stuffed with pesto and mixed bombette, and sliced ​​with cacio e pepe fondue. The meat was incredibly tender and flavorful. Everything was truly delicious. Final price €57, including cover charge and water. Highly recommended. And congratulations again.

01/07/2026: If you are in Nardò, you cannot miss Antica Macelleria Fai. It is an authentic meat lovers' paradise. The grilled meats are outstanding—so tender they literally melt in your mouth. The tables are nestled in a typical, beautifully decorated southern Italian alleyway which makes the atmosphere feel very romantic and homey. Fantastic, friendly staff and very fair pricing. 10/10 recommend!

I found the fish to be very fresh and well-prepared. The service was very attentive. You can eat à la carte or choose from the tasting menus. Recommended for seafood lovers. Prices are reasonable.

04/04/2026: A sophisticated restaurant located in an elegant historic residence overlooking the sea. The decor and service are meticulously crafted. Excellent food quality and exquisite presentation. This isn't our first time here, and each time is a pleasant experience. The friendliness and cleanliness are a constant. It's become a go-to for me. Parking is paid only during the summer months, and you can park on the street. We didn't have to wait because we had reserved a table.

Beautiful location, beautifully maintained outdoor spaces, well-structured and welcoming interior, exquisite house appetizer (mozzarella knots, peperonata, seafood salad, mixed fried foods, battered vegetables, parmigiana, and excellent sliced ​​bread). Orecchiette with mushrooms and seafood scialatielli were truly rich in flavor (and seasoning!). Excellent mixed roast. Tarts with a warm chocolate center, truffle, and lemon ice cream: EXCELLENT! 🤤 The staff was truly sooooo kind and knowledgeable. 03/11/2025: La Pergola Restaurant was a real surprise during our stroll through Santa Maria al Bagno. It's centrally located, right on the village square, overlooking the sea. The highlight is undoubtedly the cuisine, which proved to be excellent. You can taste the freshness and quality of the fish, the true star of the menu. 09/07/2026: Frankly, I don't recommend this restaurant. The children's menu had raw chicken and undercooked potatoes, and as for the adult menu, the fish was tough and dry, the tuna overcooked, and the wines very average. It's up to you!
