25/11/2025: This boutique hotel is located in the historical district of Otranto. Its seafront location offers breathtaking views. The breakfast provided was also delicious. Having breakfast on the balcony overlooking the sea was an unforgettable experience. You can't drive into the Old Town, so if you call in front of the castle walls, they'll pick you up in a golf cart. You can load your luggage and drive to the hotel in comfort. If you're traveling by car, you can park in the public parking lot, a 7-8 minute walk away, and then walk to the hotel. Parking is free. The only downside is that the rooms aren't very spacious. This seems to be unavoidable given the building's location in the historical district.

18/10/2025: A small, cozy hotel with very friendly and efficient service and a delicious breakfast. Beautiful view from the hotel terrace 😍 Downstairs room - lighting could be better, bathroom larger, and outside noise was too loud. Upstairs room near the reception - very comfortable and nice. Prices a bit high.

08/02/2026: Truly a small and welcoming place... the pizzas are excellent, thin and crispy... in addition to the traditional flour, they can be made with various types of flour from turmeric to 5 cereals to toasted barley etc... very light... the fried foods are delicious, especially the potato croquettes... and then the dessert is sublime, strips of pizza dough with Nutella... the staff are very friendly and kind... I highly recommend it

03/02/2026: January, a short vacation with a group of friends in Puglia. It's not always possible to please everyone, but thanks to you, everyone was more than satisfied. Delicious pizzas made with a variety of flours (the barley one was excellent). The second time we shared a new dish with another friend, the Puccia. Noooo, fantastic and easily digested. The pizza dough was finished with Nutella and powdered sugar, a delight. Did we forget to ask if they ship the puccie vacuum-packed to Tuscany? We'll find out. Thanks to you too for making our mini vacation so successful.

20/02/2026: I've been to this establishment several times for various events, including birthdays, weddings, and confirmations, both for lunch and dinner. The place is truly beautiful, with ample parking, large open spaces, a swimming pool, and a play area for children. The cuisine is typically Salento, sometimes with a modern twist, and the food is truly delicious! And what more can I say? Marco, Giorgio, and Gigi make you feel truly at home; they're incredibly kind and always available! I recommend it for events of any kind!

01/02/2026: Nestled in the countryside, it suddenly opens up like a discovery from the past. Green lawn, pool, and large outdoor space. The rooms, especially the small one, are truly comfortable and discreet. Truly pleasant. The manager is very kind, patient, and attentive to the customer's needs. In the summer, I think it will be a truly lovely place to relax, lulled by the scents of the countryside and pampered by the staff. The food???!!! It's OK...

29/12/2025: After searching extensively for a seafood restaurant in the coastal area, we stumbled upon this restaurant in an inland village, and it was a perfect find. The atmosphere is elegant, a blend of sophistication and simplicity. The food is top-quality and generous, and the ladies who run it are always present and never intrusive. They serve quickly and accurately, explaining the dishes thoroughly. The tempura cod and grilled tuna are unforgettable. The prices are all in all, even reasonable, for what you get. It's a shame I can only give it 5 stars. We'll definitely be back.

31/10/2025: A seafood restaurant that's nothing short of spectacular! The food at Vergari is truly excellent: everything is carefully thought out, from the welcome to the dishes to the atmosphere. We ordered mixed fried fish, which was good but a little dry in some places—no big deal, because the flavor was excellent and the quality of the fish was evident. Then we ordered two seafood centerpieces: one very large and generous, designed for two people (but easily enough for two hungry people!), and another for one, also beautifully presented and delicious. The dishes were generous, served with care and using the freshest ingredients. You can tell there's passion and attention to quality behind them. The service was perfect, truly top-notch: the staff were kind, professional, and always attentive to every need, without ever being intrusive. The restaurant's design also deserves special mention—modern, refined, elegant, yet welcoming. As for the prices, I have to say they're fair, especially considering the location: we're in San Foca, a tourist area where prices are often higher, but here the quality-price ratio is truly excellent. In conclusion, I give Ristorante Vergari a full 5 stars: a place where you can eat the freshest, highest-quality fish, with impeccable service, a beautiful location, and fair prices.

03/01/2026: The magic ingredients: Good food, tranquility, and kindness!!! ...Da Bruna is a restaurant I've been frequenting for years, and every time I find the same authentic atmosphere. The cuisine is based on genuine products, and you can clearly sense the love for good food and things done well. The restaurant is family-run, and this is immediately apparent: the kindness of the owners is one of its strengths. The pizza is delicious, with top-quality ingredients, as are the appetizers, first courses, and second courses, all carefully prepared and flavorful...I've tried them all now. A special mention goes to Rossana, who embodies kindness personified and is also an excellent cook, capable of putting passion and skill into every dish. A place where I can relax and the quality is consistent over time.

The menu offers a wide selection of meat, fish, and pizza options, ensuring everyone's tastes are catered for. The waiter, Cosimo, was extremely kind and attentive without being intrusive; I really appreciated it. The appetizer was beautiful to look at and the ingredients were high-quality. Since I wasn't terribly hungry, I only ordered a Margherita (which I really enjoyed), so I can't comment on the first and second courses. For that reason, I'm giving it 4 stars, but I'll be back to see if I should add a fifth!

14/02/2026: Beautiful place, clean and with attention to detail...my husband and I have been there several times for both lunch and dinner. The menu is varied and delicious, suitable for both meat and fish eaters and vegetarians like me. ❤️ They also offer takeout. We'll definitely be back.
