14/04/2026: Don't call it a butcher shop... It's heaven!
Even the most demanding palates will be satisfied.
This place is a butcher shop with a capital "M"! The counter is more than well-stocked and offers a variety of meats and cuts of the highest quality. Having been a resident of Salento for a few years now, it has become our go-to place for friendliness and quality ingredients.
Last time we chose to dine there, a rustic, clean, and tidy environment. We were blown away by the deliciousness of the grilled meat, tender and succulent. Even simple side dishes like peperonata and turnips left us speechless with their flavor. Everything was truly impeccably cooked!
If you're in the area (or even if you're not...), definitely try it.
Bravo Rocco and all the staff, chapeau! You can tell when people put passion and dedication into their daily work.

05/01/2026: It closed there....because the owner retired, but they reopened, for take-out, in front of the current post office, or near the Cardigliano jeweler.....the pizza chef who worked at Salentina and called it Salentina. ... ....Salentina still exists...#all#

21/03/2026: I got an iced dirty chai, paid 9.50 insane, for it to not be good. We waited forever to order the cashier didn’t know anything the only plus was he at least tried to find the answer. I can say I won’t be coming back.
14/03/2026: Coffee and pastries are good, however food is uncleanly. Found a hair in my sandwich today. Additionally, seems like the sandwiches are just thrown together- there was sauce from another sandwich on my plate and on the outside of my sandwich. It was clear they used a dirty knife to cut my sandwich because you could see sauce from another sandwich where mine had been cut. Lastly, a chunk of tomato fell out of my sandwich and tomato was not an ingredient in the sandwich I ordered. Didn’t make me feel good about the cleanliness with which the food is prepared here.

I absolutely do not recommend it unless you want to make a bad impression.
I had ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday, and I had promised her a character-themed cake.
I'm traveling, and we had planned a party down to the last detail. Moral of the story? I was supposed to pick up the cake as agreed with the bakery (ordered a month in advance). I got there and it was closed.
No cake. What a disappointment.
31/03/2025: Welcoming and above all clean place, the waitress served us with great kindness and professionalism. The desserts were beautiful to look at and to eat with a great variety to choose from.

03/05/2025: Siamo stati in questo agriturismo il 25 aprile.
Nonostante fosse un giorno festivo, quindi con grande affluenza, il servizio è stato veloce e preciso.
Piatti di ottima qualità, nonostante si trattasse di un menù fisso.
Carina anche la visita al parco animali, molto adatta a chi ha bambini.
Consigliato.
31/03/2025: Domenica ho festeggiato il mio compleanno, con amici e familiari, abbiamo mangiato veramente bene tutti i miei ospiti sono rimasti soddisfatti, la carne, gli antipastinsono stati ottimi, consiglio le sagne al negroamaro da 100 . Servizio è stati eccellente grazie anche alla presenza di Gaia e del suo personale. Vi consiglio di andare.

02/04/2025: Esperienza da dimenticare, 2 ore e mezza di attesa, tavolo vicino alla porta d'entrata, sempre aperta che in questo periodo non è proprio piacevole.
Dopo una lunga attesa siamo andati via senza cena e in più abbiamo pagato il coperto senza usufruirne...2 birre ( una piccola e una media) una porzione di patatine e un bottiglia di acqua 20 euro.
