24/08/2024: Excellent meat, excellent butcher shop, good quality/ratio. Exceptional Salento aubergine, garnishes and vegetables all made fresh. Excellent sandwiches with great puccia bread. Great choice, excellent home service, fast and satisfying, pleasant environment. In short, a certainty if you want to eat a good plate of meat with excellent side dishes🙏🪷🫶

01/09/2024: We had the pleasure of staying in August at the Le Site farmhouse. The property features modern and tastefully furnished rooms. For those who want a break from the crowded beaches of Salento there is the possibility of relaxing in the swimming pool which is also suitable for the little ones. In addition to breakfast by the pool, it is also possible to have lunch with quick and genuine dishes all coming from their garden. The structure also has an evening restaurant where it is possible to eat in a suggestive Salento atmosphere. A fixed price menu is available with drinks not included. Worthy of mention are the starters, all homemade with excellent raw materials. Thanks to Mr. Antonio and all his staff for making us spend moments of true relaxation in this beautiful structure. A unique experience, I highly recommend this reception hall for many factors, starting from the quality of the products up to the kindness of the staff. The location is wonderful and as soon as you enter you are greeted by a great fountain which especially at night is beautiful.The tables and food are impeccable and I really appreciate the way they serve the starters in the buffet.Very satisfied

30/06/2024: Enchanting, evocative and well-maintained location...but all this is not enough. A piece of advice for future spouses who have decided to choose Villa Vergine for their wedding: GET IT IN WRITING that your event will be the only one on the day you have chosen. This way you will avoid inconveniences that are absolutely not justifiable for a structure of this level: hot aperitif served by staff who are improvised to say the least, insufficient quantity of appetizers; appetizer stands already empty before all the guests have served themselves; arrangement of tables in the dining room not in accordance with what was agreed and then, even more seriously, completely ignored, allergies, intolerances and alternative menus reported. The slightest delay in the start of the celebrations, caused by our. mishap, is not enough to justify the above. The apologies from the staff and the final discount are appreciable, but more careful organization is needed for a structure that has so many strong points such as the quality of the food. I'm sorry to have to write this review but I consider it necessary to avoid bad surprises on a day that should be perfect. Evening reception on June 22, 2024

The outdoor part is truly enchanting, the staff are very attentive, the service is accurate and quick, but what is most striking is the excellent quality of the food and preparations. Everything was excellent, really delicious! Congratulations for the passion that the chefs put into their work. I haven't found a place like this for many years.

27/08/2024: While consuming the dessert I find a long hair inside it, discreetly, so as not to disturb the other customers, I point it out to the waitress, no response. I go to the cashier to pay the "full" bill, the owner tells me that he had not apologised, as the dessert had been consumed taking into account that the episode occurred at the last bite. 23/08/2024: We booked a table for lunch for 5 people for mid-August, upon our arrival we were told that we would have to wait at least half an hour for the table because several people before us showed up an hour late and they still served them without no rush and without telling him that they would have to free the table for the next customers who instead showed up on time. Finally, after obvious disappointment on our part, they let us sit and wait forever both to take our order and to serve us (lunch arrived 1 hour and 15 minutes after they sat us down). We are advised to take the sea bream fillet as it is freshly caught and excellent, so 3 of us order it for 20 euros and what I would say was 1/4 of a fillet arrives, invisible and tasteless, with 3 tiny slices of potatoes and two spinach leaves (which are also almost zero cost, why you skimp on those too, it's unclear). Obviously we express our disappointment before writing this review and we are given meaningless excuses (such as the delay of previous customers for example). The general idea that emerged is that they took many more reservations than they were able to manage and that they also rationed the raw materials available which were now in short supply in many dishes in order to satisfy the demand. Terrible overall attitude. Resting on your laurels because you have a poorly viewed restaurant in Salento in its moment of glory is not a winning choice in the long run. As an Apulian, I totally disapprove of this "smartness" (which it is not) and this taking advantage of the tourist (who will never return). Think about it which is better

26/08/2024: Yesterday we had a very, very good Terra Mare appetizer, excellent service! Waiters always friendly and with very detailed explanations of the dishes. Then we had a grilled fish which was also Super. I would also add that the service was also fast! What can I say! Better than that!

08/08/2024: It may seem like a fun review but it's the first time I've been there (I'm from Milan). The dishes are exceptional, the taste is simple but delicious! The 2 waiters who served us were extremely professional and accommodating, the seriousness was interrupted for a moment by a pleasant joke from a waiter which, said at the right time, was extremely welcome! Last but not least the location which from the outside did not seem special and instead also proved to be above expectations, being on top of a hill, we enjoyed a splendid view of the sunset without anything obstructing the view. It was me and my girlfriends, 3 courses each plus wine and dessert €170, bitters offered. I recommend it to everyone!

23/08/2024: Dopo aver mangiato in vari locali da incubo, un vento fresco ci accarezzava e ci trasportava ignaro da un ristorante magico e che soprattutto ci ha deliziato con cibo eccellente. Primi ben fatti spaghetti a vongole fatte a Opera d arte, tubettini in zuppa di scorfano una sorta di minestra deliziosa che sprigiona un esplosione di mare, frittura di pesce leggera croccante con pesce fresco, vino sorbetto un prezzo veramente eccezionale. Chw dire di feanco il proprietario di una simpatia e vcompetenza unica. Bravi da provare assolutamente continuate cosi un elogio anche alla cameriera tunisina molto gentile e cordiale. Buona estate
