04/04/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at the Bellavista Restaurant in Tricase, and the experience was simply excellent. The location is stunning, with a breathtaking view that creates a relaxing and romantic atmosphere, perfect for couples or friends. The real highlight, however, was the food, especially the fried squid from Leuca: absolutely extraordinary. The squid were incredibly fresh, tender, and flavorful, fried to perfection with a light, crispy coating that wasn't greasy at all. A balanced dish, delicate yet rich in flavor, among the best fried seafood I've ever eaten. The service was also excellent: the staff were friendly, attentive, and professional, always available but never intrusive. The wine list was good, and the prices were appropriate for the quality of the dishes and the location. I highly recommend the Bellavista Restaurant to anyone who wants to eat high-quality seafood and enjoy a special evening with a wonderful view. I will definitely return, especially to try the fantastic fried squid from Leuca.

25/04/2026: We celebrated my sister's graduation at Villa Madama. It's a beautiful place, the staff is welcoming and always available, attentive to every need...very professional. Ornella, the owner of the reception hall, is also very attentive to all her guests' needs. The food is delicious. What can I say? I highly recommend it.

29/04/2026: A lovely restaurant in the historic centre of Galatina, right behind the Basilica of Santa Caterina, a tourist destination of considerable importance for its frescoes known as the Salento Assistance. Having said that, I went there for dinner last week. The food was excellent, the staff were attentive and friendly, and the prices were reasonable. The room where we dined was located below the first floor entrance, a very characteristic feature with a barrel vault in tuff typical of Salento. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

This restaurant was recommended by our Airbnb host Giancarlo, and rightly so! Go eat here if you love delicious and authentic (Italian) food and hospitality in an intimate atmosphere. 19/04/2026: Highly recommended for the quality of the food and the family-friendly welcome that made us feel right at home. We ordered a bit of everything, from the charcuterie and cheese platter to the Angus entrecote, meatballs in tomato sauce and fried meatballs, mixed grill, chicory, and grilled vegetables. Everything was excellent and reasonably priced, but the bombette (a kind of pasta) deserve a special mention, truly special. Thanks again to Enzo and Mirella, who served and welcomed us with professionalism and warmth. We'll be back!

17/03/2026: We visited this place on Saturday, and what can I say? A truly perfect experience! The quality of the meat was exceptional: everything was incredibly fresh, impeccably grilled, and with truly authentic flavors. From the sausages to the skewers, to the steak, everything was delicious and plentiful. You could really taste the care and passion they put into what they do. Another great strength was the staff: a truly fantastic family-run business (husband, wife, and daughter). They welcomed us with a smile, made us feel at home, and looked after us with a rare kindness and helpfulness. Also noteworthy was the price: absolutely fair for the quality and quantity of what we ate. The atmosphere is simple yet warm and friendly, perfect for eating well and spending time with friends. If you're passing through Casarano, this is a must-see. We'll definitely be back!

04/05/2026: I went there for lunch for the first time with friends and family on Sunday, May 3, 2026. We were welcomed into a welcoming atmosphere and immediately felt at home. When the dishes arrived, we were delighted: I had seafood linguine, fried fish, and almond cake. I would recommend everything because everything was so fresh (for example, the fried shrimp peeled easily) and the portions were generous. What can I say: we'll be back! Highly recommended.

03/05/2026: A unique, simple, and peaceful spot away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The restaurant is located inside an old building with high ceilings. It stands very close to a former tobacco factory, closed at the end of Mussolini's reign: the village was created because of (or thanks to) this factory. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The menu, translated into French, is available online, and the dishes are photographed. Note that the lemon sorbet is not actually a sorbet but a lemon cream. We were lucky enough to try (and thoroughly enjoyed) a homemade local digestif made with wild fennel. We highly recommend this place!
