04/06/2025: They hosted my daughter's wedding. Everything was excellent from the location to the service and last but not least the food. Fish, meat, first courses, wine and desserts. Reception service by Martina and her attentive and professional staff. What can I say? It couldn't have been better. A well-deserved round of applause.

24/05/2025: Si usted está buscando un buen lugar para tomar cualquier cóctel que desee este es un buen lugar para ir. Larga lista de cócteles, los propietarios trabajan con eficacia y cuando llegas a conocerlos son geniales. No tenía nada de comida, pero realmente disfrutó de tomar una copa allí. Es un lugar pequeño, así que establezca sus expectativas a lo que 2 a 3 personas pueden hacer y disfrutar. Nos encantó el lugar, el ambiente y la gente que trabaja allí.
15/05/2025: Not accessible by car. It's best to bring only light luggage. Access is on foot via alleys with stairs. Staff are very friendly and helped us carry our suitcases.

Excellent food with lovely chilled atmosphere. Food was great all around. Service also; no complaints. A great experience.
25/06/2025: It was a pleasant experience, a place slightly out of the way from the historic center of the city. We went for dinner and we were out. The menu offers both land and sea.
The dishes were good, with a good presentation. The service was fast and friendly. The prices are fair.
I recommend this place!

05/04/2025: Unfortunately our experience at La Locanda di Buck was very disappointing. We had a reservation for 9.30pm and arrived early at 9.15pm. However, after more than an hour of waiting in the cold, at 10.40pm the table had still not been assigned to us. Despite our reports, the staff did not resolve the issue or provide us with alternatives, ultimately forcing us to leave the venue. Such disorganized management and a lack of customer focus is unacceptable. We cannot recommend this restaurant.

06/06/2025: A very nice restaurant located in a masseria just outside of Otranto.
The restaurant is known for its fish specialties, but also offers vegetarian dishes.
The kitchen is also flexible in accommodating guests' requests.
The food was excellent, as was the wine selection. For us, it was the best experience during our two-week Italian road trip.
The service was attentive and very friendly.

17/06/2025: Excellent dinner, every course was so special and tasted amazing. Portions are on the smaller side but that was perfect for us. The service is very good and the owner recommended a gin tonic with gin that is made at the restaurant. It was so good that we took a bottle home. Definitely recommended!!

27/06/2025: Tasty dishes (mostly seafood), fresh ingredients (fish was from the catch of the day), nice atmosphere and personnel. We had dinner here both days while in Gallipoli. Definitely not a tourist trap.
26/06/2025: A completely overrated place, in my opinion! We ordered the tasting menu, and it left us somewhat indifferent. The service was a bit unfriendly, and they brought our dishes practically at the same time, which meant we didn't enjoy the meal because we had to eat as quickly as possible so the dishes wouldn't get cold. Quite disappointing because we had high expectations. Still, the place is beautiful and the wine was delicious, which is why I'm giving it three stars.

23/06/2025: Special inn, you come in and order what you want directly at the butcher's counter and then it is served to you at the table ready to be eaten!!! We had bombette, straccetti, livers, hamburgers really really delicious, as an entree they bring you bruschetta and pinzimonio!!!! You should book, otherwise no meat 🤤😉😎See you next time

14/06/2025: Da molto tempo io e la mia ragazza non mangiavamo una pasta così buona come quella che abbiamo mangiato lì. La pasta alle vongole era leggera e saporita, e la carbonara era deliziosa.
Per dessert, lo chef ci ha portato la frutta del suo orto, anch'essa deliziosa.
Torneremo sicuramente la prossima volta.

06/07/2025: A bit of a disappointment for the appetizers (we ate them at the same price based on fish on the seashore) very good first courses especially the orecchiette with Tropea onion. Kind and present staff but crowded place and too hot in these summer evenings.
