Good morning, to all the readers who choose where to eat based on reviews, I can say without hesitation that Pizzeria Salentina in Salve is incredibly delicious. The service is efficient and the price is very fair. I recommend it to anyone who loves real pizza, cooked to perfection and with its grain dough, it's very digestible. 03/06/2026: A cornerstone of the Cavallino and surrounding gastronomy scene. I didn't know it, but an uncle who's a regular customer took us there. The place is very beautiful inside, a little crowded with furnishings, but very much in keeping with the food offerings. Lots of tradition, but not the kind sold to tourists as tradition, the true Salento tradition. I obviously had the ncannulati with strong ricotta cheese, a truly powerful aroma, but pleasant on the palate. Don't be put off, I recommend trying it. Everything else was top-notch, from the appetizers to the service. If you're near Lecce, this is a must-try.
