A wonderful experience that makes you feel instantly at home. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, making you experience every moment with the warmth of family. The quality of the ingredients in their dishes is exceptional, and you can taste the absolute freshness of every ingredient. Absolutely unmissable are the panzanella, enhanced with the freshest cherry tomatoes, fragrant basil, and a simply overwhelming olive oil, and the caponata, a triumph of authentic and delicious flavors. Also not to be missed is the hummus, where you can clearly taste the goodness and authenticity of the chickpeas enriched with sun-dried tomatoes. If you move on to the main courses, the shrimp tartare is a true masterpiece of refinement, and the Zibibo wrap will win you over with its rich and generous flavor. To top it all off, an excellent wine list, guided with great expertise and passion by the advice of one of the owners. Highly recommended, we can't wait to return!

Every moment spent in the wine bar is dedicated to fine wine (finally, super organic and biodynamic), selected by sommelier Tiziana, and good food. I recommend the caponata (seasonal) and the red shrimp tartare. Each dish is seasonal, and the quality is exceptional.

Probably the best wine bar and bistro in the area. A warm and welcoming atmosphere, professional staff, and truly excellent food, with many delicacies to share. I'm not a great wine expert, but it was one of the very few times I didn't feel like I was being ripped off while tasting a glass. A sign that the selection is made with care and honesty. Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back soon.

Boris Salotto & Cucina

31/05/2026: It's a very unique place, divided into two areas: the kitchen and the living room. The kitchen is open to the public, while the living room also hosts live entertainment. It's furnished with vintage work tables and chairs, and the walls are painted a dark green. Very cute! The food is good, with both sandwiches and traditional Roman dishes: the carbonara is good, but the cold cuts platter is a bit limited. Desserts: the cheesecake is excellent, but the tiramisu isn't so good. The bread basket deserves a special mention: delicious taralli, crostini, and slices of bread, but at €3, the basket should be mentioned to the customer and not simply passed off as a bread basket.
24/05/2026: At the host's recommendation, we decided to grab a quick dinner at this little spot off the tourist radar. It's a charming place with a decor I really liked. The ingredients are excellent and the dishes are truly tasty. Prices are in line with the Roman market, and the service is young, with a few minor imperfections, but nothing outrageous (the lady serves first 😉). Three traditional dishes—cacio e pepe, amatriciana, and carbonara—plus water, a beer, and two coffees: €56. If you're looking for dinner in the Gregorio VII area without going to the typical tourist trattorias, you'll definitely be happy here.

La Tombola

04/08/2026: I booked by phone with the owner, who was kind and helpful. We found a good selection for both myself and a vegetarian. If I'm not mistaken, they also have gluten-free menus. I'll check. We ordered scialatielli, which were a delight. Stuffed ravioli, truly filling. All the sauces were authentic, with yellow dates and eggplant... The beef braised in wine was incredibly tender, and the eggplant parmigiana was traditional. The desserts are homemade by the owner, and you can taste the difference. I had a babà, which they clarified wasn't made by them, but it was also excellent for soaking in the syrup. They recommended a red wine, chilled, upon request. Efficient service, attentive, and without being intrusive. In fact, they made sure to inform you thoroughly about everything... There were three of us. My wife even won by guessing the right number in the lottery, a discount valid for next time. We'll return for the restaurant, and for the quaint village, which is always a pleasure to visit and revisit.
02/08/2026: A charming place with authentic food, a family welcome, and impeccable service. We'll be back.
