04/10/2025: The wine and water arrived well after the appetizers, but not all of them were missing, with one never arriving. The first courses arrived after 30 minutes, but not all of them; one was missing, mine, which arrived at 3:07 PM. At the cashier, the lady—I think the owner—instead of apologizing said it was our fault because we had all arrived at the same time.

We didn't want to miss the new summer pizza Babganoush, and we both loved it, both for the dough and the combination of ingredients. Furthermore, the staff, as always, was welcoming, attentive, and quick with their service.

29/08/2025: Best cappuccino in Rome. We love stopping here for an afternoon pick me up. I craved this place for 2 months until we made it back to town. They have WiFi, only steps away from Trevi fountain and Rinascente. Perfect little spot.

25/08/2025: The seafood pasta dishes were a highlight. It was fresh, well cooked and full of authentic flavour. Best one I had in Italy so far. Alongside them, swordfish was beautifully prepared with delicate flavors that were perfectly balanced. The grilled octopus was also enjoyable, though the accompanying bread sometimes overpowered its natural taste, if they reduced the bread thickness it would allow the octopus to shine more and maybe adding a sauce with it since the bread felt dry. The fried calamari was crisp and well executed, and dessert provided a pleasant finish to the meal. Unfortunately, the cappuccino was disappointing: both the coffee and milk were served cold, which dulled the experience of what should have been a comforting classic. Now to the less pleasant side of the visit. Despite the kitchen’s clear talent, the service left a bitter aftertaste. On both occasions we dined here, some of the waiters were brusque, dismissive, and seemed reluctant to answer even the simplest questions about the menu. At times, it even felt as though we were being spoken about unfavourably, perhaps because we were foreigners or simply because we spoke in English. This attitude was jarring and detracted from an otherwise enjoyable meal. To be fair, not all the staff shared this attitude. One young waitress stood out for her warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism. Her service was exceptional and deserves recognition. In the end, I returned only out of respect for the skill of the kitchen, not the service. The service almost made this review a 3 stars. The food is deserving of praise but without more consistent hospitality, it is difficult to recommend wholeheartedly.

21/09/2025: An excellent place, both for its friendliness and for its excellent quality products. On Friday, September 19, 2025, the owner kindly refused to charge me for dinner because rocks were thrown at our table by children, who were throwing them freely in front of their parents. The parents then verbally attacked the owner, accusing her of scolding their children. Ah! I accepted a kind discount anyway. Thank you, I'll definitely be back.

20/09/2025: We arrived at this pizzeria with a couple of friends and four small children. Like all 2-year-olds, they were seated outside after dinner and started playing near the tables, as the restaurant has no children's play area. The owner or manager, who was at the cash register, came out to scold the children as if they had done something wrong. This was rude and completely inappropriate, given the circumstances of a dinner with other people at the tables, and she even raised her voice. I will never set foot in this place again, and I urge all parents with small children to do the same. Zero tact.

A true hidden gem, tucked away with its effortlessly cool industrial-chic style, yet warm and welcoming atmosphere. I’ve come here for everything from aperitivi to tea time, and each visit is an experience in comfort, taste, and pure joy. But what really steals the show? The cakes. One more delicious than the other—honestly, it feels like a little piece of heaven in every bite. Yesterday was a full-blown flavour fairytale. I had the apple crumble pie and a triple chocolate slice, while my friend went for the pear crumble. Every mouthful was a journey—rich, balanced, comforting, and unforgettable. Like stepping into a magical land of flavours. I couldn’t stop myself from writing this review just to say: chapeau to the chef and the owner. You can tell that every detail—from the packaging to the branding—has been crafted with passion and precision. Thank you, Fabrica, for always making my stomach (and soul) so happy. I’ll be back again. And again. And again!

22/06/2025: A Beautiful Hotel with Some Disappointments The hotel itself is undeniably beautiful, with charming architecture and a tranquil setting. However, we left feeling somewhat disappointed due to several issues that affected our stay. We specifically chose this hotel for its stunning swimming pool, only to be told on arrival Friday evening that it would be closed for a wedding the next day. While we understood the need to accommodate private events, it would have been appreciated—and more professional—if the hotel had contacted us in advance to inform us of this closure. Especially as we had phoned the hotel earlier that same day to let them know we would be arriving late due to car trouble—this could have been a perfect opportunity to let us know about the pool situation. On Saturday morning, we noticed some guests by the pool and decided to check with reception again. This time, we were told we could stay until 11:30am, which we did. In the end, the wedding didn’t start until much later, and we felt disappointed that our access was unnecessarily cut short. On Sunday, after checking out, we asked if we could spend a bit more time by the pool. Despite the area being empty (it was a grey day), we were told it was reserved for guests checking in later—though check-in wasn’t until the afternoon. We suspect it was again reserved for the wedding party. Given that the pool is a key selling point for the hotel, it would be advisable for them to notify guests in advance if access will be restricted during their stay. The receptionist even mentioned that this has been a recurring issue over the past 20 years and suggested that guests should call to check beforehand. While we understand the challenges of hosting events, we believe it’s the hotel’s responsibility to proactively inform guests if amenities are not going to be available as advertised. That said, the hotel did make some effort to address our concerns. When we requested a complimentary breakfast one morning due to the pool situation, they kindly agreed—and the breakfast was good. The building itself is charming, though our air conditioning malfunctioned the first night and began leaking, but it was repaired promptly the next day. Unfortunately, on the second night, the unit emitted a persistent ringing noise, which made sleeping difficult. On a more positive note, the hotel restaurant was a highlight—delicious, high-quality food served in a gorgeous setting. The staff were friendly and attentive despite being busy, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal there. Overall, while there were several positive aspects to our stay, we feel the experience could have been significantly improved with clearer communication and more consideration for non-event guests.

18/06/2025: Ho scelto questo ristorante per celebrare il mio 70mo compleanno con la nostra grande famiglia. Sabato 14 giugno di sera. Un vero successo, decretato da mia moglie, i miei 40 convitati e, ovvio, da me. Tutto organizzato alla perfezione, a bordo piscina, in un ambiente che è degna cornice ad un evento che, accade una sola volta....Gentilissimi nel soddisfare le nostre richieste. Ottimo il servizio, molto attento. Passiamo alla cena: ha fattos eguito ad un benvenuto ed aperitivo molto sostenuto. La cena di per sè è stata ottima. Ripeto: non oslo nei miei giudizi, visto che continuo a ricevre complimenti. Ottimi vini e il dolce praticamente assemblato in real time. Poi, un accompagnamento musicale soft, con musica per ballare stile anni '70 a seguire. Siamo soddisfattissimi. Nel frattempo del nostro evento, hanno ovviamente gestito altri ospiti. Conosciamo il Postiglione, e sappiamo che lo hanno fatto con stile e qualità. Bravissimi!
