What can I say? The grill has become a cult favorite. After 40 years, the quality and variety of its offerings remain the same. It's an experience everyone should try.

A restaurant we discovered by chance, but it's become one of our favorites! The family atmosphere makes you feel right at home! The meat is delicious, and it's truly special to see it cooked before your eyes by Baffo. Try the mushrooms, they're amazing, and also Signora Caterina's appetizers! We'll definitely be back.

A restaurant that truly makes you feel at home. We went to Da Baffo in Fregene yesterday for lunch with the whole family, and we left with our hearts (and our bellies) full… just like when I used to eat out with my grandparents as a child. The reservation was very simple: a WhatsApp message, and Caterina responded immediately, with rare kindness. When we arrived at the restaurant, she greeted us immediately, saving us a table near a heater (a treat not to be taken for granted!), and even though we showed up at the last minute with our dog, ChiChi was welcomed without a single problem. That alone says a lot. Caterina immediately made us feel like "family," with a warm, natural, and never intrusive welcome. There's no need for a menu here: she tells you what she cooked, how, and when. And you can feel, see, and breathe the love and enthusiasm she puts into her work. We had four spectacular steaks, cooked to perfection. The youngest, Marco, ordered the arrosticini... which were literally "stolen" from him because they were so good we tried them all 😄 Appetizers, side dishes, and desserts? Everything homemade, really. The family atmosphere with his brother is also wonderful: they tease each other, smile, and you feel part of something, not just a customer. And I want to emphasize this: this is true hospitality. Present but never intrusive, friendly but never vulgar, attentive but never annoying (which unfortunately is increasingly rare these days). Even when the place was packed, Caterina always had an eye on every table. A place I wholeheartedly recommend, where we will definitely return. Thank you for making us feel at home. 💛
