20/06/2025: A wonderful little traditional restaurant with a very friendly owner. Everything we ate there was perfectly cooked and truly excellent. We highly recommend the sautéed mussels and clams (with a wonderful jus), the grilled sea bass (cooked to perfection), and the fettuccine with wild mushrooms (a real taste of porcini mushrooms).

The service was nice and fast, we received the amazingly delicious food in 10-12 minutes. I have never eaten such delicious tomato pasta and pizza in my life! 08/06/2025: Suggested by a passerby in the historic center of Monte Compatri, “Lo Sperone” is the family-run trattoria we were looking for during our excursion to the Castelli Romani. Located in the alleys of the village, it offers a wide and rich menu of traditional dishes, all prepared with simple and quality ingredients. The atmosphere is warm and genuine like the owners. The real beating heart is the kitchen of Mrs. Rina, who with her expert hands makes fettuccine and homemade desserts, as they once did. You can clearly perceive the passion and love for home cooking in every course. Friendly, attentive but never intrusive service. The environment is tidy, well-kept and clean, without frills but with that authenticity that is increasingly rare today. The quality-price ratio is excellent. Only note: you have to take into account a few extra minutes to find parking, but with a little patience you can do it, and it is absolutely worth it. Highly recommended for those looking for a real gastronomic experience, far from touristy and standardized places.

A wonderful location with a spectacular view of the sea, The welcome aperitif was done outside near the pool while lunch took place inside, everything was impeccable. The cake was always served with a sea view near the pool... We ate and drank very well, we had chosen the fish menu and everyone was super happy with it... they were also very attentive to intolerances and allergy problems in a truly impeccable way. the staff was really nice and the waiter managed 33 guests alone and in a spectacular way, there were no hitches... Everyone complimented him. I highly recommend this location and the owners Arianna and José with whom we spoke, they are truly special and very kind people. The set-up was taken care of by Alessandra who I thank from the bottom of my heart, she made herself available to satisfy me on the color I chose for the wedding and she set everything up in a truly perfect and elegant way. Thank you so much again for a wonderful day
