14/10/2025: My partner and I travelled to Frascati this year (October 2025) and I had fond memories of this place from my previous trip here with my parents over 15 years ago. We made the mistake of coming here in the first night while staying at the B&B round the corner, and unfortunately nothing quiet matched up to it for the rest of the trip. If you have the opportunity to try the wonderful Bruschetta, the Truffle carbonara (which is a Lazio classic), and any of the pizzas you will not be disappointed. We are having it again tonight before we fly home and I am definitely having the carbonara! They also do local wine served by the jug, by the litre! We will be back here again!

15/10/2025: A wonderful evening with friends. The place is a guarantee: welcoming, but above all, the food is excellent! And what can I say about the staff?! We were accompanied on this evening by Annia, a knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, but above all professional and extremely sweet girl!!! She deserves more than 10 overall. Thank you, Annia.

14/10/2025: I've been going there very often with my son for an after-school snack for two years, and he's in love with their fruit juices. The service is always excellent, and the food is excellent, especially the croissants in the morning. The staff are very friendly, and the prices are a bit high overall, but fair for what they offer. The atmosphere is pleasant at all times, even in the evening when it gets crowded with young people.

16/10/2025: My husband and I stopped at Bar dei Cerchi for a coffee break. I indulged in a sfogliatella riccia, while my husband opted for a ciambella—everything was fresh and delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the prices were reasonable. This bar is located very close to the Circus Maximus and the Mouth of Truth, and if you're looking for a break, I highly recommend it.

12/10/2025: The place is very nice. Clean and simple. The service is good. Very kind and polite. The food is good. The ice creams are very good. The tiramisu had a wonderful cream... The portions are generous. You go down some stairs to get there.

06/08/2025: This place doesn't exist anymore! I spent 45 min today looking for it, found the address, and... the bar has been shut down, the door is locked, nothing inside, the sign is absent. Please, take it out of the Maps, so nobody else is misled, like I was.

22/08/2025: Let's talk about the food first, otherwise it would seem like a negative review, and it's NOT. The food is good, Grandma's, Mom's cooking, tasty and inviting. It's a sign that the chef-owner is also an artist, and that's reflected in the cuisine. Gnocchi with sheep's milk sauce are very good and flavorful. Turkey strips with peppers, melon, and peach are sooo good, with contrasting flavors, but they're delicious and quickly eaten. The only small flaw is that the portions are goldfinch-sized. The atmosphere is welcoming for what a country shack can offer. The band playing folk songs and Roman songs makes for great company. Everyone is friendly and down-to-earth; you're among very warm people. You feel good and have a different, fun, and song-filled day. As soon as you arrive, you're immersed in the idea of ​​having arrived on a piece of land belonging to a friend who remembered he had a dilapidated shack in the countryside and hasn't been there for 20 years. Tall grass, torn tarps, piled-up crates and pallets. Some of the masonry is crumbling and broken. Pretend it's a poorly maintained landfill. At least the eating area is reasonably affordable and clean. If you're one of those snobbish types, this isn't for you. You need to be able to hang out with friends and ignore the mess around you.

18/08/2025: Outstanding place, special atmosphere! We went for dinner on Saturday and had a wonderful meal. The gnocchi with sheep's milk sauce were excellent, as were the baked potatoes. The owner was very friendly and approachable.

05/09/2025: I asked if it was possible to order a portion of white rice with oil and parmesan. It cost €6 (and I ordered a takeaway), which seems like a really high price. My colleague also ordered a sandwich: it was dry and the ingredients weren't high-quality. She didn't eat it.

29/07/2025: De camino al Panteón, nos topamos con este auténtico restaurante familiar. Somos una familia de cuatro y pedimos pasta y pizza hecha a mano del menú, seguido de tiramisú y vin santo. Cada plato tenía sabores fantásticos. El servicio era excelente y el vino de mesa era increíble. Incluso el aceite de chile casero era extremadamente sabroso. Recomendamos encarecidamente este lugar, ya IT es una excelente relación calidad-precio en las inmediaciones del Panteón. Volveremos la próxima vez cuando volvamos de nuevo.

30/09/2025: We found a table for two on a Saturday without a reservation. The pizza is good, thin Roman-style, though the edges are a bit too burnt in my opinion. The pizza with puntarelle is special. The beer is cold. The atmosphere is a bit basic and dated. However, nothing that justifies the slightly high prices. Fast service and friendly staff.

28/09/2025: Excellent pizza, but the service charge is outrageous: €2 per person. My girlfriend and I spent €40 for two pizzas, a dessert, and water. 16 Caprese pizzas 9 Margherita pizzas 8 desserts 3 waters €4 service charge. It's a shame because I would have become a regular if it weren't for the insane cover charge.

03/11/2025: One thing's for sure: call him before you arrive. Everything was cooked beautifully. He's a wonderful person and cooking is his passion.

23/09/2025: A small restaurant in the center of Canale, delicious food, spectacular mussel and clam sauté, as is the spaghetti with clams... Giacomo, the owner and chef, is a charming and cheerful character... clean and tidy. We'll definitely be back. La Messinese 🥰

06/08/2025: The sandwich called "Panonzo" was terrible, burnt, with a lettuce core inside, warm beer... lots of foam and not enough beer. One star? I wanted to reward the effort.
