Always the top, a fixed stop in Montecompatri, really good, quality ingredients and generous portions, we are waiting for your tripe and oxtail but also pork butcher and breaded slices today spectacular, returned yesterday for lunch after quite a while, despite the crisis excellent prices and impeccable quality, a fabulous pork butcher and a boscaiola pasta, a crazy thrush (excellent and abundant beef rolls) for the second course, 2 cabbage as a side dish, tiramisu and coffee 37 euros with 2 lunch menus + additions, top top top in Montecompatri , beautiful country

Characteristic family restaurant where you can meet up with Montician friends while enjoying an excellent cacio e pepe

It's a guarantee... the handmade suppli are something superlative... Dry fried, crunchy pizza, well cooked and deliciously seasoned.... I've known this place since I was a child and it wasn't yet a restaurant but an environment for spending the party with school friends... coming back makes me feel at home, which is why if I have guests who come from abroad I'll gladly bring them here... it's a guarantee of food and service...

Last Sunday, after a nice walk around Monte Compatri, we stopped to eat in this restaurant which is a little hidden from the road. However, the place is well highlighted thanks to the sign at the beginning of the alley. When we arrived there was still no one there because it was early and the staff were able to spend a few extra minutes to show us the dishes we could choose from. We didn't have a paper menu but it wasn't a problem for us, we had the starter of very good and tasty cold cuts and cheeses. Followed by the rigatoni with pajata, really tasty and for the second course the lamb with a side of escarole and potatoes sautéed in tomato. Simple dishes, typical of the Roman tradition, just what we were looking for on a typical Sunday in October. We took simpler dishes for the child, such as pasta with tomato and lemon scallop. Average bill, we're not complaining.

Old-time trattoria with a very familiar atmosphere. First courses with handmade homemade pasta, good meat with simple and tasty side dishes. For those who love genuine cuisine without frills. Definitely recommended also for the good value for money.

Cucina ottima, ambiente curato e caratteristico

Non lasciano il menu al tavolo per consultare e sono abbastanza insistenti nel far ordinare in più, ovviamente senza vedere il menu, che abbiamo richiesto noi. Pizza semplice, leggera e sottile, dolci buoni fatti in casa (panna cotta e tiramisù). Abbiamo speso 30€ per due pizze (Margherita 5,50€ - broccoletti e salsiccia 10,50€), due dolci (5€ x2) acqua (1€) e coperto (2€).

Ero di passaggio a montecompatri e volevo mangiare qualcosa di caratteristico ,le porzioni sono abbondanti ma non sono il massimo ho mangiato una cacio e pepe super piccante (io sono calabrese abituato al piccante) penso che sia meglio mangiare la pizza

Personalmente mi sono trovata molto bene. La pizza Margherita era buonissima, anche la panna cotta,fatta in casa... Ancora un ambiente familiare,sicuramente ci torno

Posto tranquillo si mangia bene.
