01/06/2026: An evening with friends. A large restaurant with plenty of space, including an outdoor terrace and a veranda. Very fast and professional service. The chef-recommended seafood starters (tagliolini with three Sicilian cherry tomatoes, sea bass fillet, and toasted bread, and risotto with creamed Datterino tomatoes and king prawns) were excellent. The main courses (turbot in a potato crust and sea bass fillet) and for dessert, strawberries (with ice cream, plain lemon, and with Chantilly cream). The bread and focaccia were also excellent.

09/05/2026: Let's leave aside the croissants and pains à chocolats, which are totally inadequate; some are stale, others just defrosted and reheated. A product that has nothing to do with a quality French product. A croissant costs 1.80 for such a poor product... Never again.

26/04/2026: I stumbled upon this baguette by chance while wandering around central Rome. It offers a wide selection of baguettes with cured meats, meat, fish, and vegetables. I tried a vegetable one, which was light and tasty. It's the perfect place for a quick lunch while exploring Rome. There are no tables, so you eat outside, walking around. I enjoyed my baguette in Piazza Navona, just a few minutes away.

01/06/2026: As an Austrian tourist, I can highly recommend this restaurant as a little hidden gem. It's quietly located on a small, unassuming street known for its sparkling wine, but the food served there is incredibly good. The restaurant is run by a very friendly couple, but they don't speak English. Italian is a must, or you can always resort to gestures. The service is excellent, except for one thing: we waited longer for the bill than for our food 😅. But that was understandable, as the owner handles all the service herself, and when the place is half full, things can take a little longer. Nevertheless, it's absolutely recommendable. We overate because the food was truly perfect, and we wanted to try as much as possible. P.S. There's no parking available. If you're looking for parking, you'll have to drive around the parked car park several times before you find a spot.

03/05/2026: I had a decent appetizer (a "Pasquino" trio where the legumes were very salty), a completely salty pinsa, and a bottle of wine (they don't have house wine by the glass) for the modest sum of €42. It was my first time there, but I won't have a second to prove it.

10/05/2026: I arrived at Vigna dei Cardinali for my daughter's 18th birthday party, without any personal recommendations or previous experience from acquaintances. Some reviews I'd read previously didn't paint a completely positive picture, so I approached the venue with a certain amount of caution. The experience, however, far exceeded my expectations. The party took place on Saturday evening, May 9, 2026. The venue is well-maintained, harmonious, and enhanced by high-level organization. Mr. Montineri's management stands out for its authority, transparency, and rigorous management. Every element—architectural, logistical, and operational—is part of a structured work system, with clear roles, defined timelines, and precise procedures. This management, in its efficiency and coordination, resembles a true operating model of excellence. The event was impeccable in every respect: • quality of the food and attentive service; • cleanliness of the spaces, including the restrooms; • Professional additional services, all recommended by Mr. Montineri: DJ, photographer, Adalisa's cake, and Daniela's decorations. Competent, punctual, and attentive professionals. The beauty of the location and the quality of the furnishings certainly add value, but what really makes the difference is the human factor: a team that works with professionalism, dedication, and a sense of responsibility. Vigna dei Cardinali is a true "Caesar's army." Each member has a specific role and time. The facility demonstrates its ability to offer a high-quality service, based on organization, professionalism, and genuine customer care. A special thanks to Mr. Montineri for his attentive, competent, and authoritative leadership.

25/03/2026: Having grown up with the smell of chicken and pizza in my home since 1998 doesn't deter me from reviewing it. If a pizzeria is good, it's good!!! ☺️ So... If you're looking for a good and affordable pizza by the slice, "cotta e mangiata" has it all. Add impeccable service and a family atmosphere, and it will become your go-to pizzeria in Piazza Filattiera!!! I highly recommend the filotto di pane, fragrant and delicious like in a bakery. The pizza bianca is equally good, as good as from a grocery store. Finally, the round takeout pizzas are absolutely worth it: delicious, not heavy, and reasonably priced. So, since I've been following it for many years, if you've never been, go, just to enjoy the smile and sensitivity, the atmosphere full of kindness and human warmth that the owner Silvia manages to convey to her customers. Rating from one to five? Five and a half!!!

06/03/2026: A small pizzeria by the slice, but with excellent pizza—light, fragrant, and easy to digest. I also recommend their excellent bread, which has an exceptional shelf life. The place only offers pizza for purchase and two small outdoor tables, but overall it's worth it.

01/04/2026: Our neighborhood pastry shop. Excellent pastries, from miniature pastries to babàs, and a whole rainbow of pastries. The cakes, both semifreddo and non-semifreddo, are fantastic. The refreshment menus, with sweet and savory options, are a real lifesaver for family celebrations. Also very interesting are the seasonal offerings, such as panettone and colomba, in their delicious variations.
