I always come on Tuesdays, super friendly staff, especially Nicoletta, the best espresso Martinis in town.

Mate Bar is the perfect place to feel at home. Among the many bars in Trastevere, this is one of the few that still manages to capture the authentic spirit of a pub, combined with the charm of the Roman streets. Fair prices, top-notch cocktails and beers, and a friendly crowd.

A great place to go for a drink! The girls who served were all super friendly and attentive despite the bar being so full, always with a smile, good prices and good music too.

Spent a week in Rome traveling and came here on the first night. Met an amazing team and a great atmosphere with a mixture of locals, tourists and people studying. Lots of seating and a tv for sports, great cocktail menu. (try Nicoletta’s Old Fashioned.) Every one of the team there were super friendly, giving local places and restaurants to try out. I was even fortunate to go out for drinks with them and enjoy more of Rome. Also met the legend that is Marco, a regular from Rome who joined me for most evenings, and even took me to my first AS Roma game.
