A lovely trattoria like few others left. Friendly staff, but above all, good food. The dishes are excellent, cooked over the coals in the large fireplace in the center of the room. I'll definitely be back if we're ever in the area again.

I had dinner at Trattoria L'ovile Da Sabatino on Via Flaminia, and the experience was… authentic. The atmosphere is rustic, old-fashioned, and welcoming, like a true trattoria of yesteryear. I tasted homemade dishes, fresh pasta, and flavorful grilled meats, though I did find the prices a bit high for the quality. The service is friendly and familiar, perhaps a little slow.

We've been coming here for 30 years, and everything has remained very similar. The food is truly delicious. We had a wonderful time, the waiters were kind and polite, the price wasn't too high, and the service was excellent, with virtually no wait, and delicious coffee. We'll definitely be back!

11/02/2026: My boyfriend and I were there last night. We had various appetizers, including the eggplant meatballs, which were exceptional. The highlight was the dessert: apple pie with zabaglione cream. SPECTACULAR.

01/06/2026: An evening with friends. A large restaurant with plenty of space, including an outdoor terrace and a veranda. Very fast and professional service. The chef-recommended seafood starters (tagliolini with three Sicilian cherry tomatoes, sea bass fillet, and toasted bread, and risotto with creamed Datterino tomatoes and king prawns) were excellent. The main courses (turbot in a potato crust and sea bass fillet) and for dessert, strawberries (with ice cream, plain lemon, and with Chantilly cream). The bread and focaccia were also excellent.
23/05/2026: Amazing pizza. Impeccable service. Fair price.
